Adefunke Aweni Awoniran had gone to join our ancestors. I still saw Mama few weeks ago.
She was still full of life. she was my grandma!
At the age of 143, mama still walked herself everywhere, still recognizes us all, still does things herself.
Oh Mama was an encyclopedia. My favorite thing about her was those body marks/tattoos all over her which beautify her glowing skin! I had plans on documenting them but never got to it!
You will be missed but we will never forget you.
I’m sure your Egbe are rejoicing and are happy to receive you back into their midst.

This beads are not only meant for fashion but for protection, some people don't know the bead does a lot of work. It's protect and guide people from evils, Regarding the story I heard about this beads,there was a man ,he lives in the city, he has two daughters,his daughters like to travel to the village to see there grandfather,there grandfather is an IFA priest (A babalawo), the man gave them this IFA beads (otutu opon),so whenever they get home,there father will remove the bead,even shout at them, so they think of doing elastic bead,there is a day the girls went to village,on there way going to the village,they was kidnapped by those people that use human for rituals,The ritualist saw the beads on there hand, an was a little bit scared that they was forced to great them in a traditional way(aboru aboye) and the girls answered (ogbo ato asure iwori wofun)they were released after two weeks of missing,they get home and tell there parents,if not for the beads,they would have been used for rituals.✍️
Note: Those ritualist are not babalawo, they were only scared of what will befall them if they kill the child of Orisa
He who use a protection beads are protected by Ifa and Olodumare
