WEEK ONE DONE & DUSTED!

But before we say, “Yaaaay! We survived the first week!” 😂, let me tell you what this first week really meant to us at Marshall International Academy

Moving a school is not just about moving buildings.

It is moving people.

Moving routines.

Moving memories.

Moving expectations.

And for us, it meant leaving a place where we had built years of memories and starting again somewhere new.

And honestly?

We were scared.

One of our biggest questions was:

“How many of our parents will actually follow us?”

Because we knew proximity would matter to some families.

We knew some parents might decide the new location was no longer convenient.

We knew some would wonder…

“Will the standard remain the same?”

“Will the new place really be worth the move?”

And we had to accept that not everyone would make the journey with us.

And yes, a few families didn't.

That part wasn't easy shaaa...

But then came Resumption Day came.

And suddenly, we began seeing familiar faces.

One parent.

Then another.

And another.

And another.

Parents we had served for years, walking through the gates of our new campus, our new home.

And then came our new families too! 🥹. Ahhh, the enrolment surge, (gist for another day)

At that moment, something happened.

The fear began to give way to gratitude.

Because we realised that while we were changing locations, the trust hadn't changed.

The building was different.

The address was different.

The environment was different.

But the confidence that many of our parents had in what we are building remained.

And THAT was a win.

Then, as the week unfolded, we watched our children settle in.

We watched them explore.

We watched them learn.

We watched teachers find their rhythm.

We watched parents adjust.

We watched a new school environment slowly begin to feel like HOME.

Was everything perfect?

Naaah...

It's our first week in a new location. 😅

There are still things to fine-tune, things to improve, and things we're paying attention to.

But that's the beauty of building something.

You don't wait until everything is perfect before you celebrate progress.

And so today, as we close Week One, we are celebrating.

Not just because we completed the first week.

But because we took a big step.

We trusted the process.

Our parents trusted us.

Our children embraced the change.

Our team showed up.

And together, we began writing a new chapter.

Week One: DONE & DUSTED. ✅

To every parent who made the journey with us…

To our new parents who joined us at this new location…

Welcome. 💙

You didn't just join a school.

You joined us at the beginning of a new chapter.

And to our entire Marshall International Academy family…

This is only the beginning.

New location.

New environment.

New possibilities.

Same commitment to giving our children the very best.

Here's to many more beautiful weeks, memories, milestones and wins in our new home.

2026/2027 School Year Is Here.

And this was how we started.

The energy was good, the feeling was pure.

Grateful for Life.
Grateful for our parents.
Grateful for the staff community.
Grateful for the learners.

Grateful for the beautiful new campus and for a successful transitioning.

Grateful for the grace return back to school.

Grateful for provision.

Grateful for the new enrollments.

Monday was really, really good, and we are going to be riding with God at the same tempo till the end of the term.

Dear Esteemed Parents,

As we draw the curtains on this school term—and indeed, on the year, we want to pause, reflect, and say a heartfelt thank you.

Thank you for entrusting us with what is most precious to you: your children.

Your confidence in our school, your belief in our vision, and your daily partnership have been the foundation upon which this term’s successes were built.

This term came with its own challenges and victories, but through it all, your children showed resilience, growth, curiosity, and character. From academic progress to improved confidence, discipline, creativity, and social development, we have watched them evolve beautifully—and this would not have been possible without your consistent support from home.

We are deeply grateful for:

Your commitment to learning and school routines

Your cooperation with school policies and guidelines

Your prompt communication and feedback

Your patience, understanding, and encouragement

Your partnership with our teachers and management team as well as your support to them in kind.

Education thrives best when the school and home walk hand in hand, and this term once again reminded us that we are truly one team, working toward one goal—the holistic development of every child.

To our parents who supported school activities, attended meetings, reinforced values at home, paid attention to feedback, and continually chose collaboration over conflict—thank you. You made our work meaningful and impactful.

As we move into the holiday season, we encourage you to continue nurturing your children’s curiosity, reinforcing positive values, and creating moments of rest, reflection, and bonding at home. Learning does not stop in the classroom; it is strengthened by love, conversations, reading, and shared experiences.

We look forward with excitement and renewed commitment to the coming term and year ahead.

By God’s grace, we will continue to improve our systems, strengthen our teaching, and provide an environment where every child can thrive academically, emotionally, and morally.

Today, we celebrate the heart and soul of our school — our teachers.

Every day, they walk into classrooms filled with children from different homes, backgrounds, and stories.

Yet, with patience and love, they nurture them all — teaching, guiding, correcting, and inspiring them to become the best version of themselves.

Our teachers do more than deliver lessons; they build lives.
