From the rolling hills of Idanre to the coastal brilliance of Ilaje, we honor the journey of a state that remains a beacon of light in Nigeria.

Our History: The Birth of the Sunshine State

Created on February 3, 1976, by the administration of the late General Murtala Muhammed, Ondo State was carved out of the former Western State.

For 50 years, it has transformed from a primarily agrarian society into a hub of intellectualism and industrial potential.

Did You Know?
Originally, Ondo State included what is now Ekiti State (which was carved out in 1996). Today, it remains the leading cocoa-producing state in Nigeria!

At Ogo Oluwa, we take pride in the "Ondo Spirit"—a legacy of integrity, industry, and intellect.

As students of this great state, you are the torchbearers of the next 50 years.

Popping Success: Baking & Confectionery Class Sells Homemade Popcorn 🍿

Big shoutout to our Baking and Confectionery class! 🎉 They turned popcorn-making into a fun entrepreneurship project, learning business skills and treating the school to tasty treats.

What they did:
- Whipped up batches of classic and flavored popcorn
- Got creative with packaging and pricing
- Marketed and sold to classmates and teachers

Skills gained:
- Product development
- Marketing
- Sales and customer service
