ASTEC JOINS SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST INSTITUTIONS ACROSS WAD TO LAUNCH ONE VOICE 27
Adventist Secondary Technical College (ASTEC), Owerrinta, today joined other institutions of the Seventh-day Adventist Church within the Eastern Nigeria Union Conference (ENUC) and the West Central Africa Division (WAD) in the launch of One Voice 27, a mission focused initiative calling the Church community to deeper discipleship and active participation in the mission of Christ.
The launch brought together the entire ASTEC Community, including students, teachers, staff and workers, in a united commitment to making discipleship and mission an integral part of the school experience.
The ASTEC Foundation Schools had also launched the One Voice 27 initiative on Friday, further demonstrating the shared commitment of the ASTEC family to the mission and vision of the initiative.
The programme featured Pastor Isaiah Onyekachi, Aba North Conference Evangelism, Sabbath School and Global Mission Director, who delivered a timely message on the responsibility of every believer to embrace discipleship and actively participate in the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Under the leadership of Pastor Ahaoma Chigozirim Nwanma, PhD, and his dedicated team, ASTEC continues to strengthen its commitment to raising young people who are grounded in biblical values, equipped for service and prepared to become effective witnesses for Christ.
At the heart of One Voice 27 is a simple but powerful vision for the ASTEC Community:
Every Student, a Disciple.
Every Teacher, a Mentor.
Every Staff Member, a Soul Winner.
Every Classroom, a Mission Field.
The launch marks another significant step in ASTEC’s commitment to restoring lost values, nurturing discipleship and creating an environment where faith is not merely taught, but lived and shared.
As ASTEC join the wider family of the Seventh-day Adventist Church through ENUC and WAD, the call is clear:
One Community. One Mission. One Voice for Christ.
