2025 Batch B Update

Here are the latest updates and the next thing!

* It's now official that there won't be fresh registration for batch B.

* If by now, You are yet to see your NYSC Call-up number, you have been shifted to Stream II.

* Physical Verification for Foreign-trained graduates will hold from 21st - 23rd of July 2025.

* The NYSC orientation camp is still 30th of July.

* No official date about when Call-up letter will drop yet.

* BEWARE of scammers! Direct posting, Relocation, Medical report and fitness, exemption letter removal and others are ways they will exploit to get your money. So beware!

IMO STATE UNIVERSITY, OWERRI 2025/2026 POST-UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING EXERCISE

The public is hereby informed that Imo State University, Owerri, will commence registration of candidates for the 2025/2026 POST-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise on Monday 21 July, 2025.

ELIGIBILITY

* Candidates must have chosen Imo State University, Ovwerri as first choice and scored a minimum of 150 in the UTME.

* Candidates who did not choose Imo State University as first choice university but scored the required cut-off mark may also apply on the condition that they visit the JAMB website and change their institution of first choice t Imo State University, Owerri before the close of the POST-UTME apnlication process.

* Direct Enty candidates must be holders of OND/HND/First Degree,‘A' Level or their equivalents in relevant disciplines and subjects.

* Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results were uploaded to JAMB. Candidates whose '0" Level results are being awaited are advised to also upload same to JAMB as soon as the results were relecased. Candidates that failed to upload their results to JAMB will not be considered for admission.

HOW TO APPLY

Visit the University website at: https://www.imsuonline.edu.ng and click on 2025/2026 POST-UTME/Direct Entry Applieation.

i. Enter your JAMB Registration Number to check for eligibility. If eligible, proceed to make payment.

iii. Enter correctly your JAMB Reg, Number Only as the Invoice Number, make payment of N2,000 Naira and generate receipt.

iv. Go back to https://www.imsuonline.edu.ng after 24 hours of completing payment, click on 2025/2026 Post UTMEDirect Entry Application again to complete the Application form. For easier access, candidates are encouraged to use IMSU Microfinance Bank.

V. Present the Acknowledgement Slip at the PUTME/DE screening venue on the date of the sereening/examination.

APTITUDE TEST

The specific date and time for individual candidate's screening examination will be communicated in due course.

Closing date for this exgrcise is Monday 4th August, 2025.

REQUIREMENTS FOR IMSU POST-UTME APPLICATION

* Candidates must have chosen Imo State University, Owerri as their first choice, and must have a minimum of 150 marks in the Jamb UTME.

* Candidates who didn't choose Imo State University as their first choice university but scored the required cut-off mark may also apply on condition that they visit the JAMB CBT center and change their institution of first choice to Imo State University, Owerri before the end of the POST-UTME application process.

* Direct Entry candidates must hold an OND/HND/First Degree, 'A' Level, or equivalent in relevant disciplines and subjects.

* Candidates must ensure that their qualifying results have been uploaded to JAMB. Candidates whose O-Level results are still pending are advised to upload them to JAMB as soon as the results are released.

* Candidates who fail to upload their results to JAMB will not be considered for admission.
