CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE: FORGING GIANTS IN THE CRUCIBLE OF CHALLENGE

Dear Esteemed Parents and Guardians,

As our nation marks another Independence Day, we find ourselves reflecting deeply on the true meaning of freedom, progress, and hope. Nigeria, even after 65 years of independence, continues to navigate through layers of hardship and dependency that have tested our collective resilience. The realities of economic challenges, insecurity, and social instability often raise difficult questions: Are we truly independent? Can we still believe in the promise of a greater tomorrow?

Yet, in the midst of these struggles, one truth remains unshaken—our strength as a people has never been measured by comfort, but by the courage to rise and stand tall despite adversity.

At Oxford Heights Christian Academy, this spirit of resilience is what we seek to instill in our students. We are not blind to the hardships around us, but we refuse to let those hardships define the future of our children. Instead, we see them as opportunities to raise a generation that can thrive under pressure, adapt to changing times, and stand the test of global standards.
