A Memorable Celebration at FECOLART 🎉

Today, the 5th of May, 2026, marked a truly special moment in the life of our dear and amiable Provost.

In a beautiful show of love and unity, members of staff pleasantly surprised him upon his arrival at the College. Dressed elegantly and looking as distinguished as ever, the atmosphere quickly filled with joy as staff gathered to sing a heartfelt “Happy Birthday.”

Overwhelmed with emotion, the Provost shared a deeply personal reflection. He revealed that, due to circumstances surrounding his birth, he had never truly celebrated his birthday in the past. Instead, his birthdays had always been dedicated to prayer and fasting. However, moved by this remarkable gesture of love, he declared that this celebration marks a new beginning for him.

He further shared that he had just come from church, expressing gratitude to God for the gift of life.

One of the most inspiring highlights of the day was his generous support for academic excellence—announcing ₦100,000 for each PhD candidate and ₦50,000 for each MSc candidate. This act underscores his unwavering commitment to scholarship and intellectual growth within the College.

In his remarks, the Provost reaffirmed the spirit of unity in FECOLART, emphasizing that regardless of rank, we are one family.

The celebration was crowned with a joyful group photograph, while goodwill messages and birthday wishes continued to pour in from across the community.

Indeed, it was a day filled with joy, gratitude, and inspiration.
