At Joyful Place, We Promise Support, Progress & Partnership, not Specific Timelines.
We understand that every parent wants to know:
“When will my child start talking?”
“When will my child catch up?”
“When will my child be ready to stop therapy?”
As much as we wish we could give you exact dates, we cannot, and we will not make promises we cannot guarantee.
Every child is unique. Progress can look different from one child to another.
So, what do we promise?
We promise evidence based practices:
We promise individualized support based on your child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals.
We promise to monitor progress and use data to guide our intervention.
We promise to celebrate every milestone, whether it is a first word, a new skill, improved communication, increased independence, or a small step that may mean the world to your family.
We promise partnership. We will work with you, listen to your concerns, share your child’s progress, and involve you in the journey.
And when it comes to ending or reducing therapy, we will not work by a calendar date. We will consider your child’s skills, progress, independence, and ongoing needs.
Because at Joyful Place, we believe your child deserves more than a promised timeline.
Your child deserves a team committed to the journey.
We promise to support the journey.
We promise to measure the progress.
We promise to celebrate the milestones.
But we will never promise what we cannot predict.
