WHAT IS DOUCHING?

The word ''do**he'' is French for ''wash'' or ''soak.'' It is a method to wash out the va**na, usually with a mixture of water and vinegar. Douches that are sold in drugstores and supermarkets contain antiseptics and fragrances. A do**he comes in a bottle or bag and is sprayed through a tube upward into the va**na.

Common reasons women report they use a do**he include:

*eliminating unpleasant odors
*preventing pregnancy
*washing away menstrual blood after a period or semen after s*x
*avoiding a s*xually transmitted infection.

Douching has been associated with many adverse outcomes including :

*pelvic inflammatory disease,
*bacterial vaginosis,
*cervical cancer,
*low birth weight,
*preterm birth,
*human immunodeficiency virus transmission, *s*xually transmitted diseases,
*ectopic pregnancy,
* recurrent vulvova**nal candidiasis,
and *infertility.

Alternatives to douching:

The easiest way is by washing with water when bathing or showering.
A non-fragranced wash can be used, or one designed for va**nal use that will not upset the natural pH balance of the va**na.

We all are aware that curious fluid intake is a necessity right? Let's adopt it as a habit. It's refreshing.

An Advice to my colleagues.

Please for no reason should you administer any medication,via intramuscular route without doing the following:

1) Invisibly dividing the buttocks,or laps into quadrant(in to 4 +')
✓we know that if drug is to be administered intramuscularly on laps and buttocks, site is upper outer quadrant of the thigh or buttocks,as the case may be.

2) cleaning the area with spirit/savlon as the case may be.

3) Withdrawing before administering the drug in the upper outer quadrant.

✓This no 3,is the main point, because many have been left paralyzed, it is not funny.
✓Am an expert in the field will not save you.
✓The SCIATIC NERVE is what we all know is the ultimate reason for withdrawing as not to injure it,it would take nothing to withdraw first.

I have read, but never experienced it until one-day I withdrew and blood was drawn into my syringe, imagine if I gave that shot without withdrawing, it was Arthemeter ,an oily drug for that matter, if God isn't Faithful,I don't know what else to call that.

In a nutshell, no one is a master in this profession, don't try to impress, do ur job in the most calm way, so as to in the best way cut down on errors.
no one has a monopoly of knowledge, ask questions and God will see us through.
