IMSUAA Felicitates Nwosu on 49th Birthday, Describes him as Advocate of Good Governance

The leadership of the Imo State University Alumni Association (IMSUAA), on behalf of all registered members heartily felicitates one of its leaders, renowned Imo Star and philanthropist, Chief (Hon) Uche Nwosu on his 49th birthday celebration.

Chief Nwosu, who holds a chieftaincy title of "Ugwumba", is a great supporter of our association, amiable, resourceful, dedicated and most especially, a good governance advocate.

The celebrant, a onetime Deputy Chief of Staff, Commissioner and Chief of Staff in Imo State respectively is a fire brand promoter of IMSUAA in every spheres of his life continues to stand out as one of the leaders of his alma mater; a sincere, selfless, humble, courageous and patriotic leader who, as a product of the prestigious Imo State University, Owerri, remains steadfast to his commitment towards the peace, unity, stability and development of our alumni.

As the founder of "Ugwumba Movement", he is celebrated for his peaceful style of politicking, efforts in strengthening the bond of unity, love, harmonious living, mutual respect and understanding among the people of Imo state in particular and Nigeria in general.

Record shows that Chief Nwosu, in the cause of promoting our association has assisted good number of Imo Stars to secure employment, appointment and succeed in their field of endeavors.

As a dedicated, result oriented and active member of the noble association, he has played active role in the sustenance of the growth of the alumni in no small measure.

Remarkably, all the years he has devoted himself for the service of man, the alumni, and the state, he has remained unblemish and unsoiled in all ramifications. He is indeed a very good friend in need to our association and not a liability.

Fraternal greetings to you all.

2. It is with great sense of humility and responsibility that I once again write to you all as critical stakeholders of our Association which I currently serve as the National Organising Secretary/Chairman, National Convention Planning Committee.

3. Today - the 8th day of July, 2024 is very appropriate to remind us that our 2024 National Convention is just one month away from date. It is by statute the highest national event of our Association where every registered member is obligated to participate in order to contribute to the decisions that shape our existence, actions that engineer our growth and conducts that encourage the actualization of our fundamental objectives.

4. Therefore, it is on the strength of the above premise that I responsibly rise to communicate each and everyone of us with respect to our forthcoming Convention and in full cognisance of the responsibilities of my office as the National Organising Secretary. Indeed, I profoundly appreciate you all for this unique privilege to serve our Association, our nation and humanity through the IMSUAA platform at this given time.

Dearest Imo Stars, it is therefore news worthy to state that our 2024 National Convention which is at its 7th edition is objectively being planned to inspire members' reunification for collective interest, initiate new ideas, create new opportunities, strengthen connections and realise collective dreams of greater impacts to our Alma mater and society at large. The goals, therefore, are: to strengthen alumni bonds and engagement for new and old members; foster professional development and collaboration; review our existence and progress; celebrate IMSUAA successes and appreciate our shortcomings; rekindle fond memories and campus spirit amongst members/participants; recognise distinguished alumni achievements through awards and honours; provide opportunities for mentorship, career advancement and community service; set professional podium for knowledge incubation for na

IMSUAA Congratulates Its President, Ozumba on Birthday

The Imo State University Alumni Association (IMSUAA) celebrates the President of its great association, Chief Barr Okey Ozumba (Nzeakonobi) as he marks his birthday today.

Barr Ozumba is a remarkably honest, humble and accommodating leader, a brilliant Lawyer, insightful administrator, tactical politician and grassroot mobilizer who remains steadfast in his untiring roles for the stability, unity and development of our great alumni.

As President of IMSUAA, Barr Ozumba continues to distinguish himself as a patriot who put the good of the members above every other considerations.

The Imo State University Alumni Association appreciates our own Nzeakonobi for bringing his administrative proficiencies and innovativeness to bear in the effective management of the affairs of our association leading to administrative stability, efficient NEC/BoT membership and result-oriented day-to-day running of IMSUAA.
