Staff and students at Jeremi Model Academy School recently had training on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(CPR).Special thanks to Dr Ayo who trained the teachers and the secondary school pupils on how to do CPR in emergency situations. The Doctor taught them how to feel for pulse on the wrist and neck, demonstrated the CPR process and learners practiced hands-on.
Some people from the community also attended the training. Mothers who were present seized the opportunity to ask for medical advice on child health related matters like convulsions etc.
They were also encouraged about healthy eating and living a healthy lifestyle.
