SPARRIANS PROVE THEIR STRENGTH ON NEUTRAL GROUND!
The Sparrians of Sparrow Football Academy once again showed why they are a force to reckon with, delivering a confident *3–0* victory over MICCO FC today.
This wasn’t just another match , it was a test.
Management wanted to evaluate the team’s true strength and ensure our winning streak wasn't due to facing weak sides. So, MICCO FC was invited from Ifo and the game was taken to a neutral ground.
The result? The Sparrians did what they always do, play with purpose, passion, and unity.
Ashade Damilare continued his incredible form with two goals, while Ibrahim Quadri marked his debut with a brilliant finish.
But it wasn’t just the goals, it was the teamwork, discipline, and dedication that stole the show.
This match is the perfect confidence booster ahead of the Great Diamond Soccer Tournament kicking off this weekend.

I Did It Alone — For the Dream. For the Boys. For the Vision.
Over the past weeks, I’ve single-handedly kitted the Sparrians of Sparrow Football Academy with 68 brand-new training jerseys and I’m still counting. No sponsorship. No external support. Just passion, sacrifice, and unwavering belief in these boys.
I’ve reached out, I’ve hoped, I’ve prayed but no help came. Yet, I couldn’t sit back and watch these young, talented players continue without the dignity of proper kits. So I did it free of charge, for every one of them.
Behind this smile are responsibilities:
Aging mum.
My late brother’s family.
Siblings.
Myself.
And the Sparrians who now depend on me not just as a coach, but as a father figure, mentor, and provider.
I may be pressed financially — rent is pending, personal needs are overwhelming — but my heart is full. Seeing these boys train in unity, looking beautiful, confident, and proud in their new jerseys… *it’s priceless*.
But this is only the beginning.
Next, I’m seeking ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS for them because these boys deserve a shot at a better life. They are disciplined, determined, and talented. With the right opportunity, they’ll not just play football… they’ll make history.
