🎒📚 SCHOOL RESUMPTION CHECKLIST 📚🎒

GET READY FOR A GREAT NEW TERM!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we prepare for the resumption of a brand new academic session, here is a comprehensive checklist to help ensure your child is fully ready for a smooth, confident, and successful start. ✅

1️⃣ SCHOOL UNIFORM 👕
Complete uniforms, socks, shoes, sportswear, and all other required school clothing — clean, neat, and in good condition.

2️⃣ SCHOOL BOOKS 📚
Textbooks, exercise books, notebooks, homework books, and all required learning materials.

3️⃣ WRITING MATERIALS ✏️
Pens, pencils, eraser, sharpener, ruler, mathematical set, crayons/coloured pencils, and other stationery.

4️⃣ SCHOOL BAG 🎒
A clean and durable school bag, properly packed and labelled inside with the child's name. (Not too big or heavy for their weight.)

5️⃣ PERSONAL HYGIENE 🧼
Neat hair, trimmed nails, clean clothes, handkerchief/tissue, water bottle, and good personal hygiene.

6️⃣ LUNCH & WATER 🥪
Lunch box, healthy snacks, and sufficient drinking water for the school day.

7️⃣ ACADEMIC PREPARATION 📖
Revise previous lessons, complete holiday assignments, and encourage daily reading, spelling, and basic mathematics practice.

8️⃣ HEALTHY ROUTINE 🕘
Restore a proper bedtime and wake-up routine, reduce late-night screen time, and ensure your child gets enough sleep to avoid laziness in class.

9️⃣ SCHOOL FEES & EXAM FEE 💰
The best time to pay school fees is during the holidays to avoid distractions during learning sessions. Confirm payment of school fees/exam fees, purchase learning resources, complete necessary items, and confirm transport arrangements.

🔟 EMOTIONAL & SAFETY PREPARATION ❤️
Talk positively about school, encourage confidence and good behaviour, discuss safety rules, and remind your child to respect teachers and classmates.

🙏 AND DON'T FORGET TO PRAY FOR YOUR CHILDREN! 🙏

🌟 A well-prepared child is a confident child — ready to learn, grow, and succeed! 🌟

Let's work together to make this session a truly rewarding one for every child.

🎒📚 SCHOOL RESUMPTION IS ALMOST HERE! 📚🎒

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We hope you and your children have enjoyed a restful and refreshing holiday. As the break gradually comes to an end, it's time to help our children transition smoothly back into their school routine.

The return to school doesn't have to be stressful. With a little planning and the right mindset, we can make the shift from HOLIDAY MODE to SCHOOL MODE a smooth and exciting experience for every child. 😄

This week, let's begin to:

✅ Adjust bedtime and wake-up time gradually — a little earlier each day makes a big difference.
✅ Reduce late-night screen time and encourage more restful evenings.
✅ Reintroduce a structured daily routine that mirrors the school day.
✅ Get school bags, uniforms, shoes, books, and learning materials ready and organized.
✅ Talk positively about returning to school — reassure your child and build their excitement.

Please note: Don't wait until the night before resumption to make sudden changes. Sudden adjustments can leave children tired, anxious, or unprepared. A little preparation now will go a long way in helping them settle in quickly and confidently.

At Famex International Schools, we are committed to preparing our children for a successful return — academically, socially, and emotionally. We can't wait to welcome them back!

Let's make this new term our best one yet! 💙
