This is what we mean by catching them young.

We connect the future with the present I.e we connect young students in various schools with people succeeding in various courses of study.

This is done to provide mentorship for the students and also get all their questions answered which would serve as a guide in making the right choices.

The Ganglion Initiative Lagos branch visited Quality Focus School in Lagos to achieve this.

Would you like to be a part of us? We are still taking applications.

A major step to creating an a Africa filled with empowered and equipped children is through access to education.

Education is the bridge that has no boundaries, fostering understanding and collaboration on a global scale.

Today as we celebrate international education day let's embrace the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to a brighter future for all African children.

We .ganglioninitiative celebrate educators, learners, and advocates who tirelessly work towards making education accessible to everyone.

Happy International Education Day!

Websites to learn diverse new skills this November or in 2024

These useful websites can be used by anyone, even secondary school students, to aid their growth, learn, and add more knowledge to themselves.

They're self-paced learning websites, some issue certificates at a cost or free, while some you can apply for financial aid!

There is a slang in Nigeria called catching them young.

We believe that providing youth with the knowledge and resources they need to decide what career path they want to pursue at a young age can prevent them from pursuing career paths they find uninteresting or regrettable.

We do this with our synapse program. This is the arm of The Ganglion Initiative that focuses on Secondary Schools.

We visit secondary schools and educate them on the various courses available in the university and the requirements they need to get the course.

Our goal is to equip secondary school students with the necessary information that will allow them to choose a course and a university that best suits them. To guide them on the appropriate career choice, entry requirements to get into various Nigerian and international schools, and how to multitask academic excellence with leadership, entrepreneurship, volunteerism, and good character.

Growth and progress can't be replaced by anything in life.

To see a change in something, in ourselves or the nation's growth is essential.

Like a seed needs to grow to become a plant and bear fruit.

We need to grow and make progress to improve, achieve our heart desires, and become the success we want to be.

So, we agree with Benjamin Franklin when he says "Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning."

We would recommend Steal Like an Artist, and here are 5 lessons we learned.

1. You are a mash-up of what you let into your life, people, music, movies, etc.
2. Your Job is to collect Ideas, and then select which one you want to influence you.
3. School yourself always. Google your dreams to see how and know people who have achieved that dream.
4. Value the praise you receive, save it for the days you feel down, and also learn from criticism, but don’t allow it to discourage you.

5. It’s in the art of marking things and doing your work that you figure out who you are.

Which book would you recommend? Tell us in the comment section.

How many of the plans you made in your head but didn’t write down did you retain at the end of the day?

We want to remind you to put your goals into writing and paste it where you can see them.

You can also place accountability around it.
