PROMISE FULFILLED BY THE EDUCATION SECRETARY OF ORON LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY, MRS NSE EBO

On behalf of the entire staff and learners of Government School Iquita-Oron, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the education secretary of Oron local education authority, Mrs Nse Ebo for her generous donation of exercise books to our learners and staff.

Remember that on the 12th of December, 2025, during our end of the year carnival, she promised to supply our learners with writing materials on the resumption Day. Today, being the resumption Day, she has fulfilled her promises.

Madam, your kindness and support make a world difference in creating a positive and enriching learning environment for our learners.

Your generosity truly lightens the load and lifts the spirits of both learners and teachers.

MESSAGE OF APPRECIATION

I am writing on behalf of the staff and learners of Government School Iquita, Oron to express our deepest gratitude to all our dear parents and supporters who made our Christmas party an absolute success. Your generosity and kindness transformed the day into a colourful and joyous celebration that will forever be etched in the hearts of the children we serve.

Our Christmas party was a day filled with laughter, love, and happiness. A special thanks to our Education secretary, Mrs Nse Ebo, chief Nyong Umoh and all the parents for spending their whole time with us today. The children had a wonderful time as they danced, enjoyed delicious meals, and received beautiful gifts from Santa Clause(Father Christmas). It was truly heart warming to witness their smiles and the pure joy radiating from each child. Your support created magical moments that they will cherish for a lifetime.

Excitement rented the air as Teachers and learners of Government School Iquita, Oron celebrate their Day in grand style.
The event which was supervised by the sports officer of Oron local government Area, Mr Matthew Udokang , featuring: fitness exercises, skipping, filling the bottle and basket, table tennis, ludo game, Nsa isong, thugs of war, bredo and dancing competition.

Sports and games provide us with numerous benefits such as physical health improvements, reducing stress, and enhanced self esteem.
sports and games also teach the learners valuable social skills such as team work, discipline and also boost academic performances.

Both the staff and the learners were all entertained.
Kudos to the performing Headteacher, Mrs Nkoyo Essang and her management team.
