WHY IS THE SKY APPEARS TO BE BLUE?

REASON:
The light from the sun looks white, but it's actually made up of all the colors of the rainbow(visible spectrum) mixed together: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.

Light travels as waves.
Each colour has a different wavelength and frequency.
* Red light has a long wavelength and a low frequency while
* Blue and violet lights have much shorter, choppier wavelengths and higher frequencies.

When sunlight travels/passes through the atmosphere(air around us filled with tiny gas molecules mostly nitrogen and oxygen), it hits these gas molecules. This causes the light to be scattered(or absorbed and then re-emitted) in a different direction.
The gas particles scatter blue light—which has a short wavelength—much more strongly than other colours.

∆ Because blue light and violet light waves are short, they crash into these tiny gas molecules and get scattered in every direction. This process is called RAYLEIGH SCATTERING.

Moreover, the Sun emits much more blue light than violet light.
And again, the cone cells in our eyes are much more sensitive to blue light than they are to violet. So, even though some violet light is scattered, Our brains effectively "filter out" the violet, or interpret the mixture of blue and violet as a Light Blue Colour.
😀So, when you look up at the sky on a clear day, the blue light that has been scattered in all directions by the atmosphere is what reaches your eyes from every part of the sky.
We see that scattered blue light coming from all over the sky...🔵

Why is the sky blue. Merry Christmas to You All

GREAT DETERMINATION
A person's talent does not depend on the institution that most people are obsessed with, but on oneself. Many people graduate from famous institutions but it's just a graduation.

And later, American scientists named a new element 'Mendelivium' after him in his honor.
