An Attempt To Cross The Red Sea In Pursuit Of Others Could Cause Your Doom!

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

THIS TERRIBLE MESSAGE IS FROM GOD!

COMMENT
God had to speak through Micah, to forewarn men about the trouble ahead of humanity. Why would God meddle with humanity as such?

As of now, God is angry, like He was in Micah 2, during those Old Testament times. God has decided to act, as stated, because men:
Verses 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11:
- Have become wicked; and continue to act with impunity.
- Exploit, suppress, attack, cheat, defraud, and even imprison others, particularly the unsuspecting, God's people, the widows and the fatherless, just to satisfy their greed.
- Have ruined and polluted the land
- Have developed itching ears, trust in falsehood, and operate with false hope.

Ultimately,
Vs 3, 10:
- God's terrible judgement shall engulf all such defaulters, plus their entire lineage
- No such convicts shall escape the Divine retribution
- God's verdict shall humiliate all of them
- Their land shall be terribly destroyed
Vs 4, 5, 6:
- Doom, mournful songs, plus hopelessness shall characterize everyone
Vs 10:
- Everybody shall be evacuated (exited) from their station (abode)

CONCLUSION
Right away, God has come down from His abode - firstly, to save the righteous; secondly, to oversee how His agents shall carry out His final verdict.

Before now, Jesus Christ, "The One Who Breaks Through Walls” has pushed through and will soon be seen walking to the front of his people. By then, His chosen ones will break through the gates and leave the earth. They will leave with their king marching before them - with the Lord at the front of his people.

Will you be in the number saved by grace; or, do you intend to be left behind?

GOD'S REVEALED (INCARNATE) WORD
Another important Personality we must reckon with in our discourse about the blissful Shower from God is Jesus Christ.

If recalled, SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS is Prophet Ezekiel's perspective of what God ultimately had in mind for Israel and for the whole world. In Ezekiel chapter 34, the covenant God (the True Shepherd of Israel) was terribly provoked because His chosen Shepherds had caused men to degenerate and be lost in sins!

Noticeably, God was angry, and had gone on to condemn and rain curses (woes) upon the land and the shepherds (leaders) of Israel. But, the way God later positioned Himself against Israel never stipulated as if He had given up on sinful humanity. Even, the Holy Bible candidly fully talked about the when and how God's eternal Plan shall work to save mankind.

Thus, as the Bible said, God went ahead to gift His anointed and indispensable Servant to become the means by which to restore all that has gone wrong! Invariably, Jesus Christ (the eternal living Word - Who is co-eternal, co-equals, and co-works with God) became God's Revealed or Incarnate Word. (John 1:1-3; 2Corinthians 13:14)

Let's recall, that at about 6,024 years ago, God had vehemently forewarned the devil about Christ's victory on the Cross. By then, GOD (in Genesis 3:15-ERV) said to the snake:
“You did this very bad thing, so bad things will happen to you. It will be worse for you than for any other animal.... I will make you and the woman enemies to each other. Your children and her children will be enemies. You will bite her child’s foot,
But he will crush your head."

4,000 years later, Isaiah 7:14(KJV) said:
"Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." And, 500 years after the Old Testament Prophetic era had passed, Matthew 2:1-2 said: "behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him."

In Hebrews 1:1-3, St Paul states, thus:
In the past God spoke to our people through the prophets....... And now in these last days, God has spoken to us again through his Son. He made the whole world through his Son. And he has chosen his Son to have all things. The Son shows the glory of God. He is a perfect copy of God’s nature, and he holds everything together by his powerful command......"

So, it can be properly understood, when John 1:14(ERV) said: "The Word became a man and lived among us. We saw his divine greatness—the greatness that belongs to the only Son of the Father. The Word was full of grace and truth."

Or, when Jesus in John 10:10(KJV) said:
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. And, 1Jn 3:8(KJV) said: "For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."

And when, St Paul put a seal to this fact (in 1Timothy 1:15), when he said: "Here is a true statement that should be accepted without question: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and I am the worst of them."

As it stands now, Jesus' birth, suffering, death, resurrection, ascension, and glorification has fulfilled the entire prophecies about Christ's mission to the earth. So far and based on Prophet Ezekiel's perspective of what God's Servant shall do in Ezekiel 34.

Because of what Jesus has done, you can forthwith:

+ Enjoy self-determination, self-reliance
+Enjoy adequate Divine Placement vs 13
+Enjoy proper Divine nurture / care
+Enjoy Divine Peace or Rest vs 15, 25, 27; Mt 11:28-30
+Enjoy Divine Health/ Wellbeing / Healings vs 15; Ps w107:20

SHOWERS OF BLESSING
Biblically said, the word Blessed refers to the inward joys, inner peace, satisfaction, favor, prosperity, or wellbeing, which God could bestow on any man by grace; and which cannot be shaken by circumstance.

By itself, the phrase Showers of Blessing refers to the release, or rain of joy, favor, miracles, wonders, or blessings from God upon men. That package inclose a variety of blissful experiences which God could so graciously pour upon any man.

But, what caused the shortfall in the human experiences that God showered upon mankind after all?

In Genesis 2:17, God had said to Adam: "But you must not eat from the tree that gives knowledge about good and evil. If you eat fruit from that tree, on that Day you will die." Of course, Adam refused to obey that Divine law which God gave him in Eden; and so humanity lost her eternal dividend!

Further down the ages, so many damnable things continued to happen. Satan never relented; but kept tempting, infesting, and leading men astray. He kept causing every human being to disobey God.

Now, when men would not stop sinning, but kept compromising with the devil to satisfy the lusts of their flesh and displease God. As the devil worked, to fulfill Ezekiel 18:20(KJV) and Romans 6:23(KJV), the souls that sinned died; and, the wages of their sin turned out to be death for them!

Okay, did men's continued betrayal and obvious rejection of the Trinity cause God to give up on mankind? Did God not act contrariwise, to avert the curse, and rain down blessings upon men?

Since, the answer is yes! What did God's Showers of Blessing entail?

a) God's Spoken Word
A major Divine Blessing which creation gained is God's Spoken Word. Just imagine what the earth should have been, if the Lord had not spoken to transform it. Then, you will agree with Psalm 29:4; when it says: "The Lord’s voice is powerful."

Like as said, God could manifest through His Spoken Word. When communicated, these Divine messages (laws, prophecies, promises, warnings, etc.) become integral resources that could guide mankind to the right path.

At some point, Psalm 108:105(ERV) said: "Your word is like a lamp that guides my steps, a light that shows the path I should take." In 2 Chronicles 20:20(KJV), an embattled "Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper."

In Isaiah 1:19-20(ERV), God says: “If you listen to what I say, you will get the good things from this land. But if you refuse to listen and rebel against me, your enemies will destroy you. The Lord himself said this."

Further down the line, Isaiah 30:21(ERV) said: "If you wander from the right path, either to the right or to the left, you will hear a voice behind you saying, “You should go this way. Here is the right way.”
Finally, this also is what the Lord says in Jeremiah 6:16(ERV): “Stand at the crossroads and look. Ask where the old road is, and walk on that road. If you do, you will find rest for yourself."

So, how do you treat God's word and His Messengers? Do you enjoy the blessed Shower that comes through God's Word? Do you desire, read, meditate upon, obey, live out, and preach God's Word?

SHOWERS OF BLESSING THROUGH CHRIST

This Message is based on Ezekiel 34. But, I'd like Genesis, chapters 1 and 2 to brief us about the blessed man God created; so we shall get to know what mankind lost to sin, when God chased her out of the Garden of Eden!

1) THE BLESSED MAN GOD CREATED
By Divine arrangement, the first man that God created at about 6,024 years ago:
I) Ranked last but became the premier of all Creation (Gen 1:2-28; Ps 139:14)
ii) Carried the manifest glory of God.
iii) Was perfect - Godlike, Godly, holy, sinless. (Gen 1:26-28)
iv) Was gifted with Eternal life - the greatest of all the Divine gifts and blessings from God (Gen 2:7; Jn 3:16)
v) Enjoyed Divine Placement (Gen 2:7-23)
vi) Had everything that should sustain him put in place before God created him.
vii) Was forewarned not to eat from a particular tree that stood in the middle of of Eden.

Brethren, the status of the man that really occupied Eden has clarified. Does it bother you how mankind has degenerated since creation? Are you willing to receive Divine help and be restored from under the curse that followed the fall of Adam?

God says, “I will take away any power the wicked have
and give it to those who are good.”
