Chapter One
THE GIRL, OLUEBUBE

In a remote village of Okoroume was a girl who lived with her parents.

She was named Oluebube for her parents experienced so many challenges before she was born.

She was known to be a good girl, but she also had her limitations and weaknesses.

Oluebube was just seven years old, yet she could do what many of her age mates could not do. She had the habit of greeting her parents, elders, teachers, neighbours, friends and those who insult and ignore her.

Before Oluebube would leave for school, she would pray to God with her parents and finish her morning chores.

After her morning chores, Oluebube would go ahead to brush her teeth, take her bath and dress up neatly, ready for school.

Most times after her breakfast, she walked to school alone. Other times, she trekked to school with her friends, who were also her neighbours...
