TEACHERS ARE THE ONES THAT MAKE OTHER PROFESSION POSSIBLE

Teachers are referred to as the Nation builders because they are the ones that builds the nation, without the teachers there will be no president, senators, governors,doctors, lawyers, engineers, nurses,pilots, pharmacist etc and yet they are the ones that are poorly paid, appreciated and recognized. Their mode of recruitment is nothing to write home about. They are sacked at will in private owned schools and yet the government and society does nothing about it.Even our university go on strike regularly because of non payment of their salary. But these are the people that nuture our children/ wards from playgroup to university level, equipping them to become useful for themselves in future and society at large. The rate at which people look down on TEACHERS is becoming alarming even the illiterate in the society.
THE BIG QUESTION IS "WHEN WILL OUR GOVERNMENT RISE TO THE RESPONSIBILITY OF RECOGNIZING THE TEACHERS, GIVING THEM THEIR RIGHT AND AS AT WHEN DUE.
October 5th is the day that teachers are celebrated world wide, I want to urge our government, parents, guardians to look for a TEACHER around you and celebrate him/her on that day because their job is not an easy one. If you think that teaching is a child's play then apply for it today.

Education is one of the greatest services provided by teachers. It is vital for anything. The role played by teachers becomes a very important component and in infact it can be said that they are in away our nation builders. True Education is training of both the head and the heart.
