Today we gathered as one family, comprising of the formators, seminarians and lay staff of our noble seminary to celebrate with deep devotion the Holy Mass of Ash Wednesday, 2026. The Holy Mass was presided over by the Rector, Rev. Fr. Fabian Obi, who reflected with us on the best way to join the universal church in this holy season of Lent, effectively.

Yesterday the Seminary represented by the Formators and Members of the Seminary main Choir, was present at Sacred Heart Parish Ozubulu, in Nnewi Diocese, for the burial Mass of Late Mr. Joseph Maduka, the Father of Rev. Fr. Johnmark Maduka, one of the Seminary Formators in Blessed Iwene Tansi Major Seminary Onitsha.
The Holy Mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Raphael Ezeogu, the Chancellor of the Catholic Diocese of Nnewi, in the midst of many priests from different dioceses.
May the soul of Late Mr. Joseph Maduka Rest in peace Amen.
