*LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE: A PRACTICAL LESSON BEYOND WORDS*

Today, our School Manager, *Rev. Fr. Emmanuel* Okwuokolo, delivered a lesson that will long be remembered—not from the classroom, but through personal example. For the first time, he appeared fully dressed in the complete school uniform: shirt, tie, waistcoat, trousers, and black shoes. This intentional act was not for display, but for instruction with purpose.

In a time when improper dressing and poor grooming have remained lingering challenges among students, Rev. Fr. Okwuokolo chose the most powerful teaching method—leadership by example. By wearing the uniform himself, *he clearly demonstrated that proper dressing is achievable during school hours, practical in every sense, and not an unreasonable expectation.* His action reinforced the message that *the school’s standards are realistic, dignified, and worthy of pride.*

He went further to address the students, emphasizing:
The importance of proper dressing and neat grooming as visible signs of discipline, self-respect, and readiness to learn.
The value of early arrival to school, reflecting responsibility and respect for time.
The call to be responsible and accountable students whose conduct positively represents their families and the school community.
This moment served as a powerful reminder to students, staff, and parents alike that values are best taught through action, and that excellence begins with the little things we practice daily.

Indeed, today’s lesson spoke louder than words.
