Good evening, beloved family, friends, faculty, staff, and wonderful students of Open Heaven College of Health Technology.
We give thanks to God, the Author of life, the Great Physician, whose love sent us the greatest gift—Jesus Christ—wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. As we sing “Joy to the World” and “Silent Night,” we are reminded that the One who created the heavens also touched the brokenness of our world, offering healing that surpasses any medicine.
Open Heaven College of Health Technology—what a name! It speaks of a place where heaven’s grace opens upon us, where the skills we acquire are not merely technical, but ministry. Every lecture, every lab, every clinical rotation is an opportunity to manifest the love of Christ in action. In the words of the Apostle Paul, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters” (Colossians 3:23). Today, we celebrate not only the birth of our Savior but also the calling that each of you has received—to serve, to heal, and to bring comfort.
The carols we sing tell the story of that holy night: the angels proclaiming “Gloria in excelsis Deo,” the shepherds leaving their flocks, the wise men following a star. Each of us, like those humble shepherds, is called to go out into the world, to bring the light of Christ into hospitals, clinics, and communities that often sit in darkness. The tools you are mastering—medical laboratory , community health . Public health , Health information, Pharmacy technician, Environmental health, public health—are instruments of that light. When you administer a vaccine, when you help a patient take their first steps after illness, you are extending the ministry of the Healer who first said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10).
As we enjoy these beautiful hymns, let us also reflect on the true meaning of “carol.” A carol is a song of joy, a proclamation of hope. In the same way, our lives should be a living carol—joyful, hopeful, and proclaiming the goodness of God. Let the melody of your dedication, the harmony of your compassion, and the rhythm of your hard work resound in every hallway of this college and beyond.
In closing, I want to leave you with a simple charge: keep the wonder of that first Christmas alive in your studies and service. Let the star that guided the wise men guide your steps each day. May the angels’ song echo in your hearts, urging you to bring good news to every patient you meet.
May the peace of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds as you continue this noble journey. Enjoy the remainder of the month, cherish the fellowship, and let the music of the season inspire you to go forth as light and love in the world.
Thank you, and may God bless you all. Happy Christmas!

PUBLIC AWARENESS: HOW TO IDENTIFY ORIGINAL HONEY
In recent times, the market is flooded with adulterated honey mixed with sugar syrup, molasses, or artificial additives. To protect yourself and your family, here are simple ways to check if honey is original:
1. Water Test: Pure honey settles at the bottom of a glass of water and does not dissolve quickly.
2. Thumb Test: A drop of pure honey stays in place and does not spread around your thumb.
3. Smell & Taste: Pure honey has a natural floral aroma and a rich, not excessively sweet taste.
4. Crystallization: Over time, original honey thickens or crystallizes naturally, while fake honey remains watery.
5. Tissue Test: Pure honey stays on the tissue without soaking through immediately.
These methods are not 100% scientific but give a strong indication of authenticity. For the best results, buy honey from trusted local beekeepers or reputable brands.
