Breaking the Silence on Sexual Violence

At the Sexual Violence Project Nigeria (SVPN), we are committed to empowering survivors, educating society, and creating a safe space for healing. Sexual violence is more prevalent than many realize. The WHO defines it as “any sexual act, attempt to obtain a sexual act, or other act directed against a person’s sexuality using coercion, by any person regardless of their relationship to the victim, in any setting.”

Alarming Stats:

1 in 3 girls will experience sexual violence in their lifetime.
Sexual violence is severely underreported.
