Day 5 of our computer training is all about turning lessons into practical skills.

With our facilitators guiding them step by step, the students are gaining hands-on experience, asking questions, practising and becoming more confident with the computer.

Because digital literacy isn’t just about knowing what a computer can do—it’s about being confident enough to use it. 🚀

And we’re loving every step of the journey!

The practical sessions have officially begun!

After learning the fundamentals, our students are now getting hands-on experience with computers—putting what they have learned into practice, exploring different functions and building their confidence along the way.

At TOPYouth, we believe digital literacy is best developed not just by learning about technology, but by using it.

And this is only the beginning. 🚀

Day 3 of the TOPYouth Free Computer Training Programme took us into an important part of using a computer effectively: files and folders.

Students were introduced to how files and folders are organised, why proper organisation matters, and how keeping digital information in order can make it easier to find and manage their work.

This is one of those simple skills that can make a big difference as students begin to use computers for schoolwork, projects and other tasks.

And as the training continues, we’re moving beyond simply knowing about computers to helping students develop the confidence and practical skills to use them effectively. 💻✨

The TOPYouth team, alongside corps members who volunteered to support our Free Computer Training Programme, had the privilege of paying a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Oba Abiodun Aderemi Adefehinti, Agbekorun II, the Alara of Ilara-Mokin.

We shared the purpose behind the computer training programme and our desire to help students use their summer break to gain practical digital skills that will serve them beyond the classroom.

We also discussed our plans for a future entrepreneurship programme aimed at giving young people more opportunities to develop practical and relevant skills.

We’re grateful for the warm reception and the opportunity to share our vision.

One step at a time, we’re working towards a community where young people have more opportunities to learn, grow and thrive. 🌱

Day 2 of the TOPYouth Free Computer Training Programme is here, and the learning continues!

Our students are getting more familiar with the world of computers, building on yesterday’s foundation and taking another step towards becoming more confident digital learners.

And there’s something special happening beyond the classroom too—our E-Library in Ilara-Mokin is ready! 🎉📚💻

We’re grateful for the people and organisations helping us create spaces where young people can learn, explore and grow.

A special kudos to Egbe Omo Ilara and City Profs Educational Foundation (CPEF) for supporting this vision and contributing to opportunities like this. 🤝🏽

IT’S FINALLY HERE! 🎉💻

The wait is over! Today marks the beginning of the TOPYouth Free Computer Training Programme.

From August 17th–28th, secondary school students in Ilara-Mokin will have the opportunity to learn practical digital skills, build confidence and explore new possibilities.

We’re excited to open our doors at the TOPYouth Centre, Ilara-Mokin, and begin this journey of learning and growth with these young minds.

A big thank you to City Profs Educational Foundation — CPEF for partnering with us to make this possible. 🤝

At TOPYouth, we believe that raising children in underserved communities means looking beyond one area of their development.

Yes, we are committed to their literacy and entrepreneurial growth. But we are also deeply invested in their spiritual growth.

Through our partnership with CEF, we are creating opportunities for children to learn, discover, grow in faith, and develop into well-rounded young people who can make a difference in their communities.

Because we don't just want to prepare children for school. We want to prepare them for life.
