WAEC debunked the viral list of schools accused of Examination Malpractices.

Important Notice to Parents

Dear Distinguished TAICO Parents,

Warm greetings.

We are aware of a message currently circulating on social media alleging that Thomas Adewumi International College, Oko is among the schools indicted for examination malpractice, and that, as a result, our 2025 WAEC results have been withheld.
We wish to categorically state that this information is FALSE and should be disregarded in its entirety.

At TAICO, we uphold the highest standards of integrity and academic excellence. We have zero tolerance for examination malpractice and do not, in any way, aid or abet such acts. Since the inception of our participation in WAEC examinations, we have never been indicted or involved in any form of malpractice — and we intend to keep it that way.

We understand the concern this false information may have caused. Please be assured that this is nothing more than a malicious attempt to tarnish our reputation, likely by individuals who are envious of the consistent success our school has recorded over the years.

To further put your minds at ease, we have received and printed all our students’ WAEC results. There has been no official communication from WAEC regarding any issue. Please note that WAEC does not disseminate such sensitive information via social media.

We therefore urge all our parents to remain calm and continue with their normal activities. The school is investigating the source of this misinformation and will take appropriate steps to address it.
