Hadith means the sayings, actions, and approvals of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
It explains and supports the Qur’an and teaches us how to live as good Muslims.

Yesterday, we talked about Career and Future Planning in Islam — how Muslims should plan, work hard, and trust Allah while seeking halal livelihood.

✨ Comparing Christianity and Islam

Islam and Christianity are two major world religions with some common beliefs and some key differences.

🕊️ What They Have in Common:

🔹 Belief in One God (with differences):

Christians believe in God but see Him as the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit).

Muslims believe in Allah — One, Unique, with no partner or child.

🔹 Belief in Jesus (Prophet Isa AS):

Christians believe Jesus is the Son of God and savior.

Muslims believe Jesus (Isa AS) is a great Prophet, born miraculously, but not the Son of God.

🔹 Belief in Holy Scriptures:

Christians follow the Bible.

Muslims follow the Qur’an (which corrects and completes earlier scriptures).

🔹 Belief in the Day of Judgment:
Both believe in resurrection, judgment, and the afterlife.

🕌 Major Differences:

🔸 Belief in the Trinity vs. Tawheed (Oneness):
Islam rejects the Trinity.
"Say: He is Allah, the One." (Surah Al-Ikhlas 112:1)

🔸 Jesus as Son of God vs. Prophet:
Islam teaches that Isa (AS) is a servant of Allah, not His son.

🔸 Salvation:

Christianity teaches salvation through faith in Jesus’ sacrifice.

Islam teaches salvation by faith in Allah, righteous deeds, and His mercy.

As Muslims, we respect Christians and believe in peaceful dialogue.
But we must hold firm to Tawheed — the belief in Allah alone — and follow the Qur’an and Sunnah.

May Allah guide us, increase our knowledge, and make us firm on the right path.

I didn’t cry for any leader, king, or president…
I cried for myself and for every soul destined for the grave.

Power fades, positions end, and every name will be forgotten beneath the earth.
No escorts… no special bed… only a narrow space covered in dust and silence.

On that first night in the grave, fear and regret will awaken us alone, with nothing but our deeds.

O Allah, make us among those who prepare for this inevitable journey.
Ease for us the terror of the grave and grant us a righteous end. Ameen.

Yesterday, we discussed Building Strong Relationships in Islam, highlighting the value of love, unity, and good character.

📚 Career and Future Planning in Islam

Islam encourages us to plan, work hard, and seek halal means of livelihood.

🔹 Working with Good Intention (Niyyah):
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Actions are judged by intentions." (Bukhari & Muslim)
When we work with good intention — to feed our family, help others, and serve the Ummah — our work becomes an act of worship.

🔹 Choosing Halal Career Paths:
Islam permits seeking knowledge and skills, but we must avoid haram jobs.
Honest business, skilled work, teaching, medicine, trade — all good if done right.

🔹 Balancing Dunya and Akhirah:
"Seek the Hereafter with what Allah has given you, but do not forget your share of this world."
(Surah Al-Qasas 28:77)
We strive for both success in this world and the next.

🔹 Trusting Allah but Working Hard (Tawakkul):
We make plans, we work, but we also trust Allah for the results.

Islam does not stop us from dreaming big or planning for the future.
But we must always do it within the boundaries of Islam — with honesty, fairness, and remembrance of Allah.

May Allah bless our efforts, open good doors for us, and make our careers a source of halal provision, charity, and success in this world and the next.

💞 The Importance of Building Strong Relationships in Islam

Islam strongly encourages good relationships based on love, sincerity, and respect.

🔹 Relationship with Allah (Our Creator):
This is the strongest bond a believer can have. Through prayer, dhikr, and obeying Allah’s commands, we strengthen this connection.

🔹 Relationship with Family:
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"The best of you is the best to his family."
(Tirmidhi)

🔹 Brotherhood among Muslims:
"A Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not oppress him nor abandon him."
(Sahih al-Bukhari)

🔹 Goodness to Neighbours and Community:
The Prophet ﷺ advised us to treat our neighbours kindly and strengthen community ties.

🔹 Keeping Ties of Kinship (Silatur Rahim):
Allah loves those who maintain family ties and punishes those who sever them.

🧠 Reflection:

Good relationships bring peace, love, and harmony.
Our religion is not only about worship but also about treating people right — with mercy, honesty, and kindness.

🤲 Final Du’a:

May Allah help us build strong relationships with Him, our families, our brothers and sisters in Islam, and our communities.
May He fill our hearts with love, unity, and forgiveness.

Assalamu Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

Today, we reflect on an important part of our deen — the Arabic language and its role in Islam.

📘 Why is Arabic Important in Islam?

🔹 The Qur’an was revealed in Arabic
Allah says:
"Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’an so that you may understand."
(Surah Yusuf 12:2)

This means the original message of Allah came in Arabic, and every translation is just an explanation, not the exact words of Allah.

🔹 We pray in Arabic
All Muslims around the world perform their five daily prayers in Arabic. This helps maintain the original wording of worship and unites us in one language before Allah.

🔹 The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ spoke Arabic
All his sayings (hadith) were recorded in Arabic. To understand the Sunnah correctly, Arabic remains the key.

🔹 Arabic unites the Muslim Ummah
Whether we’re Hausa, Yoruba, Ebira, Fulani, Igbo, or from any other part of the world — when we say “SubhanAllah” or “Bismillah,” every Muslim understands. That’s unity.

💡 What Should We Do?

Even if we are not fluent, we should make an effort to:

📌 Understand the meaning of our prayer words
📌 Read the Qur’an with translation
📌 Learn and use common Arabic expressions

These small steps help connect our hearts to our worship.

🤲 Final Message

Arabic is not just the language of the Arabs.
It is the language of Islam, the Qur’an, and our Prophet ﷺ.

May Allah make it easy for us to learn, love, and live by the Arabic language.

Yesterday, we discussed the Afterlife in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam and how Islam gives the clearest picture of life after death.

Today, our focus is on the Aspects of Islam and the Qur’an — two sources that form the foundation of our faith and practice.

🌙 What Are the Aspects of Islam?

Islam is built upon five major pillars, but beyond that, it covers many aspects of life:

🔹 Belief (Iman): The unseen, belief in Allah, angels, books, prophets, the Last Day, and Qadr (destiny).
🔹 Worship ('Ibadah): Daily prayers, fasting, charity, Hajj, remembrance of Allah.
🔹 Morals & Manners (Akhlaq): Truthfulness, patience, humility, modesty, kindness.
🔹 Law (Shari’ah): Rules guiding halal/haram, justice, trade, marriage, etc.
🔹 Community Life (Ummah): Brotherhood, cooperation, charity, and unity.

📖 What is the Qur’an?

The Qur’an is the final revelation from Allah, revealed to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ over 23 years.
It is:

✅ A book of guidance (Huda)
✅ A source of mercy (Rahmah)
✅ A healing (Shifaa’) for hearts
✅ A light (Nur) that leads to truth

Allah says:
"Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is most just and right."
(Surah Al-Isra 17:9)

The Qur’an teaches us how to worship, how to behave, how to deal with others, and how to succeed in both this life and the next.

💡 Final Reflection:

The beauty of Islam lies in its completeness. From faith to law, from worship to daily habits everything has guidance.
And the Qur’an is the manual of this life and the next.

Let us hold firm to the Qur’an, recite it daily, reflect upon its meanings, and live by it.

May Allah make us among the people of the Qur’an — those who recite it, reflect on it, and act upon it.
