The Federal Cooperative College Enugu State ably led by their pragmatic and energetic Provost/ CEO Dr Jude Ejikeme Obidiegwu witnessed an epoch and novel collaborative visit from Kasetsart University Bangkok Thailand. The team was lead by Prof Dr. Kornsorn Kriskulnath (Assistant to the President on Research and Internalization). Deliberations focused on partnership and networking. This represents a new dawn for FCCO and presents a leveraging platform for the globalization and contextual development for the college in terms of capacity development and infrastructure enhancement. FCCO is committed to ensuring sustainable economic and cooperative development. The future is indeed bright for our great college

Dr Obidiegwu Engages with ASUCA Members..Assures them of Better Staff Welfare

The Provost and CEO of Federal Cooperative College Oji River, Dr. Jude Obidiegwu met with ASUCA (Academic staff union of college of Agriculture) executive members today, October 25, 2024, to discuss staff welfare and college growth. The meeting was part of his ongoing engagement with key departments and stakeholders of the College .

Dr. Obidiegwu welcomed the ASUCA members, led by Chairman Dr. Egor Hikarofem, and listened to their concerns.

Key discussions were geared towards the staff welfare and the college growth. However, the provost assured the ASUCA members of his commitment better staff welfare this was even as he noted that staff welfare would certainly boost morale and productivity.

While appreciating the efforts of the last administration on the growth of the college, Dr Obidiegwu assured the executives of ASUCA of imprinting his footprint in the College as he was poised towards focusing on critical areas of growth and development in the college.

He however, appealed with the members to always be vanguard of the college publicity and imagery noting the need to sell the institution positively to the outer environment.

The provost's engagement with ASUCA demonstrates his commitment to collaboration and open communication with staff and stakeholders.

The meeting had in attendance the chairman of ASUCA, Dr Egor Hikarofem; the vice chairman, Mr Chris Ogbu; the secretary, Mr Wisdom Duru and the treasurer Mrs Iroabuchi Millicent. The Registrar of the College, Mr Gwunyenga Innocent was also in attendance.
