PURPOSE OF VEHICLES: a vehicle according to the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary of current English 7th edition is defined as "a device that is used for transporting people or goods from one point to another". For goods, it can be used to transport them from their manufacturing point to their point of sales/consumption, and for people, it can be used to convey them from place to place for various purposes. From the foregoing, it can be deduced that vehicles were invented for the purpose of making transportation easier, faster and more convenient. This can be certified true, when one considers other means of transportation that existed before the production of self-moving machine or automobile, which four of them were the use of: (1). HUMAN AND ANIMALS POWER (2). VEHICLES WITHOUT WHEELS (3). DEVELOPMENT OF WHEELS VEHICLES. (4). NINETEENTH-CENTURY WHEELED VEHICLES.
