Ogun @ 50: Governor Abiodun Declares February 3 Public Holiday for Golden Jubilee Celebrations
The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has formally declared Tuesday, February 3, 2026, a public holiday throughout the state to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ogun State's establishment.
This declaration was made public in a statement issued on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi. According to the statement, the public holiday will enable residents to participate fully in the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
As stated, the anniversary marks fifty years of Ogun State's existence, steady growth, and significant contributions to national development.
The statement urged citizens to celebrate this historic milestone in an atmosphere of unity and peace, while reaffirming the administration's commitment to consolidating past achievements and accelerating the state's development agenda for the benefit of all residents.
Furthermore, Talabi stated that the governor encouraged residents to utilize the public holiday to actively participate in events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Gateway State.
Ogun State was formally established on February 3, 1976. The Golden Jubilee celebration features a diverse range of commemorative activities designed to reflect on the past, celebrate the present, and envision a bold and prosperous future for the state.

Notice: NIN Registration Exercise

We are pleased to announce that National Identity Number (NIN) registration agents will be visiting our school to facilitate the registration process for our students. The registration fee is ₦3,000 per child.

The registration team will schedule their visit based on our school's population, with larger populations being prioritized for earlier visits.

To participate in the registration exercise, students are required to make the necessary payment.
