Topic: Moving in the strength of God.
Text: Judges 6:14.
It has been established that movement is an integral part of human existence. Anyone who wants to be great must move from one place to another. However, ultimate success lies in the strength of God. This gives a clear picture that moving in God's strength means living, acting, or facing challenges not by relying on one's ability, but by drawing on God's power, guidance, and wisdom.
One of the qualities of humanity is that we are born with limitations. This is why God spoke through Isaiah "As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than yours..." (Isaiah 55:9 NIV) The scripture opens our eyes that we need God to move past our limitations. What then does it mean to move in the strength of God:
1. Dependence on God: Jesus admonishes us to remain in him if we must be successful in life (John 15:4).
2. Faith-fueled action: Hebrews 11 explain the meaning of faith with lots of examples to explain what it means to have faith. He concludes that without faith, it is impossible to please God. Moving through 2026 requires faith in action.
3. Overcoming challenges: John 16:33 opens our eyes to the fact that challenges are part of the journey. If we we must move in God's strength, then we have to be of good courage to hold on to the words of Jesus that he has overcome the world on our behalf.
4. Live a purposeful life: A life of purpose would fulfill destiny, a purposeful life will journey far with God. Apostle Paul laid this example when he didn't allow challenges to weigh him down. As a prisoner, he wrote to encourage, warn and build members of God's kingdom.
As you are reading this, what level are you, are you planning on moving on or giving up, or you're planning on using dubious means, I have goodnews for you, go in the strength of God and you'll be glad you did. To be continued.....,.

Text: Judges 6: 14
Movement is an integral phenomenon on the life of man. God is concerned about movement that he gave a mandate to be fruitful and multiply. It is impossible to fulfill this mandate without change in position. In Exodus 3, it is evident that Moses was commissioned with a mandate to "go". Our Lord Jesus emphasize this in Matthew 28 when he commissioned man. If we must make the best use of 2026, then we must move in the strength of the Lord.
Someone is thinking, how can I move effectively when situation are not palatable, how can I move when inflation, insecurity joblessness and several lots are the order of the day. The answer is found in Judges 6:13 Gedion asked question from the angel of the Lord, "If the Lord had been with us why then have the enemies outsmarted us?" You may have asked similar questions and may be asking such again. Listen, God is not interested in your stories or questions for being afraid, all he wanted is for you to take the bull by the head, face your challenges and move on.
As you are reading this write up, reflect on your life, you have journeyed through life challenges and have come this far. You are already looking into the 330 days ahead in 2026 and asking how would you survive the challenges ahead. I have goodnews for you, "Go in the strength of the Lord " To be continued on why should you move ahead........

Text: Judges 6:14
Stagnancy or stagnation is one of the leading cause of challenge to humanity today. One of the attributes that differentiate living things from non-living things is the ability to move. No wonder why the sciences when listing the attributes of living things began with movement (MRNIGERD). This implies that movement is essential if one would fulfill destiny.
Movement on a general term means change in position or transport from one place to another either static as it is in plants or locomotor as it is in animals. Movement however requires strength, endurance focus and several other factors. An athlete would run for a title awaiting him just as the author of Hebrews declare (Heb 12:1-2). 2026 awaits those who would move in the strength of the Lord to harness the blessings embedded in it. Would you be a survivor? To be continued
Gideon a powerful soldier could not defend his nation because he was scared, he received the word "Go in this strength of yours" received the strength to journey through this year

We live in a world where various celebrations are carried out ranging from birthdays, Christmas, New Year and several lots. All these celebrations often come with eating and drinking, merryiment and several lots from people around. Abraham had this experience when he welcomed God and the angels to his house. Of course he was rewarded handsomely with a son the following year. In the same way we celebrate Christmas on yearly basis as a day to remember the birth of Christ and the salvation of the world. We are to know and understand that the essence of Christmas is not merely for drinking and eating varieties as some people have taken it to be. It is a period of sober reflection on the finished work of Christ on the cross and the salvation he brought to humanity. The question thereof is that what has been your opinion and position on these celebration especially this season. To this effect, it will please me to let you know that that "Celebration of Christ birthday is celebrating the birthdate of our salvation. This is because Christ came to save, and to redeem us from sin and the power of the darkness, the life changing Christ will visit you and all that belongs to you this season and forever, because Christ brought joy into the world, you will rejoice all through the coming years till Christ return. AMEN. Compliments of the season.

Text: 1 Peter 2:9-10
All children seem to have the same view of Christmas; eating, drinking, wearing new clothes etc which usually stir the minds of adults. It is at this junction we decide what to do and what not. During this period, lots of children usually remind their parents of their promises and pledges yet to be fulfilled. It is unfortunate however that many parents do break their promises making their children lose trust in tem. However, there is no fear for Christians in Christ for we havthe a heavenly father who would not break his promises to us.
The birth of Jesus and our celebration of Christmas confirm that God fulfills His promises. Our lives have been forever changed. We know God and have experienced his love and the joy of His salvation became the fulfilment of His promise about the Messiah.
To this end, we are the chosen people of God 1 Pt. 2:9&10. What then is Christ expectation of you and me? Apostle Peter has a few things to say ... God has chosen us (believers) so we are no longer our own. We belong to God and are called to do His will. The Lord of God says in v. 9
But you are a chosen people a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light (NIV).
A chosen or a new race is made up of all who have accepted Christ as He is both King and High Priest giving same grace to believers Rev. 1:6. By implication each saint is God's unique possession, just that we are humans in existence. We must forever be praise Him because He saved us by the virtue of what He did at the cross.
As you celebrate this Christmas brethren, you must:
1. Give yourself as a living sacrifice to serve God with the garment that is on you because you are clothed with Christ Rm. 12:1; 13:14
2. Do good and share what we have with others (Christ)
3. Praise and thank God who has called us from darkness of sin into the light of His presence
4. Tell the whole world what God has done for us and be zealous of good works at this season Tit. 2:14
Merry Christmas and New Year in advance
12 days away from Christmas, who will loan me a fowl? I'll pay back on Christmas day
The 12th month, the last month in a year, it is the true month of a greater revival as the birth of the Messiah, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords and the savior of the world is remembered. The spirit of believers at this time is lifted up. On this note, because of the Lord's great love you are not consumed for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning and great is the Lord's faithfulness. Remember to remain steadfast in the Lord and his presence will not depart from you this month and forever. Happy New month

TEXT: 1 SAMUEL 1:1-10
PRAYER AN ANTIDOTE TO UNKNOWN TROUBLE VS 8-10
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit … (Ps 51:17). Year in year out, Elkanah and his family would go to Shiloh to worship. He would give Hannah more portions than Peninnah. God frowned at his action and he shut Hannah’s womb. We are not told if any of the victims (Elkanah, Peninnah and Hannah) was aware of the cause of Hannah’s predicament. If Peninnah knew God was fighting her battle should wouldn’t have troubled Hannah (vs 6).
How long has Hannah been in this condition? Her husband full of love and concern for Hannah would try doing all in his capacity to console Hannah (vs 😎. Has this been the practice over the years or a coincidence for that year? We don’t know. One thing is glaring, that year, that day which she became tired of her predicament, she wept sore and refused to be consoled. Is someone thinking, for how long has Hannah been taking consolation to ease her pain or trouble? But on that day she refused all form of consolation, all form of distraction. She wept bitterly and refused to be consoled. She didn’t go to her husband, he doesn’t have the solution she would have been a mother. She didn’t go to Eli nor anyone they have no solution to her predicament. This do not overrule the fact that Eli had been soliciting on her behalf when she goes to Shiloh. Rather she went to God with a broken heart. She wept onto the Lord and she returned with praise.
Aren’t you tired of going from prayer mountain to another with no solution to your problem? Listen there are certain troubles whose solution are found on your knees to God and not by intercession. Some troubles are not family related, some are not caused by forces of darkness but unknown (undisclosed) sources. Some emanates from partiality and other forms which God frowns at. Remember Israel would go on exile for forsaking God’s way. You may be fervent in God, holding to his teachings and words yet you may be suffering. Why not turn to God in brokenness of heart submitting your totality and inadequacies at his feet. Remember God fought for Peninnah but ignorance made her to lose the battle. Hannah won the battle on her kneel when she turn to God.
Conclusion
No condition is ever permanent. With prayer and supplication when we present our case to God he will answer us. Ask and it shall be given to you … (Matthew 7:7). There is one person who has answer to all challenges, both known and unknown. Hannah discovered this and she became free. Zacchaeus discovered this and his life changed completely. Listen, backing out is never the solution but waiting and looking unto God. Elkanah was not remembered after the event, Peninnah became forgotten after the event. Hannah became a victor and was remembered till this day. I don’t know your challenge and trouble, turn to the Lord and he will give you a lasting solution. Sinners, why not let go of your sinful life and come to Jesus who suffered for your sake so you can be vindicated. You don’t have to suffer the consequences of sin again, surrender to Jesus today and you will have victory.
PRAYER
Say this prayer, I surrender my all to you, my challenges, troubles and my totality, dear Lord save my from all form of challenges facing me and give me victory.

TEXT: 1 SAMUEL 1:1-10
IGNORANCE: A FACTOR TO SUFFERING UNKNOWN TROUBLE VS 4 – 7
Unknown troubles are challenges suffered by people to which our devotion to God sometimes would not stop. Reading from the book of Samuel, it is revealed that a devotee can be a victim of circumstance. Don’t misquote me, sin, pride, ignorance, negligence and other of such lifestyle are major reasons why people suffer challenges however this do not overrule the fact that people suffer unknown troubles. The number of years and reasons why people suffer varies from one person to another but one things is important, there is victory in Jesus.
In my search for knowledge, I was made to understand that a man is allowed to marry more than one wife if he will be able love and treat them equally. Humanly speaking we know this might be difficult or impossible. This was the case of Elkanah and his family. He loved Hannah more than Peninnah. The reason for this lifestyle was not disclosed but this led to the trouble the wives suffered from. To affirm this, verse 4 and 5 assert that Elknah would give portions to Peninnah and her children and double portions to Hannah while going for worship “because he loved her”. Considering the statement he loved her we will ask what is Peninnah’s offence? James 2:1 answer this, do not show partiality … This opens our eyes to the fact that there was partiality in the family of Elkanah which is against God’s wish.
In response to Elkanah’s lifestyle, God responded in verse 5 and 6, He gave Peninnah children and shut the womb of Hannah. What a consolation we would say. Hannah has the love but no child, Peninnah suffered loneliness and loveless marriage but has children (Elders would understand this “a wife with children owns the husband in case of storm”). Excuse me, Hannah was barren for years because of Elkanah’s ignorance. An sure if Elkanah had knew he was the cause of Hannah’s predicament he would have repented and love the wives equally. Am sure lots are of the view that Peninnah was the cause of Hannah’s predicament because she do mock her (6 and 7) but I am telling you that Peninnah was only an instrument to worsen Hannah’s predicament.
Someone is asking why should we be reading about a man’s family who made himself vulnerable to circumstance around him. I am pleased to make you know that so much of the trouble in the world today is because of partiality and ignorance. I am not overruling the fact that serious minded people are rewarded while unserious people are stagnant but am referring to situation whereby people who worth certain rights are denied deliberately when others are granted. Mothers, fathers, employers, teachers, people in authority and everyone, I have a question for you how are you treating those around you? Are you giving them equal rights and benefits when necessary or you are allowing sentiments and partiality to overwhelm you. Remember that Peninnah has nothing to do with Hannah’s predicament (as stated in the scripture) but God himself took up the battle and fought Hannah himself. So many people are not progressing today because others are denied social amenities wrongly because of them. Rather than calling on equality they are enjoying partiality and God is promoting the unloved ones living the loved ones to suffer troubles. This can go on for so many years until there will be divine intervention or adjustment.
To be continued………………. Let’s ponder on this, what do you think is the way forward?
PRAYER
Say this prayer, I repent from all form of partiality causing someone to weep, I break lose from all form of partiality causing my stagnation and trouble.
I pray for someone, the Lord will give you insight to see and understand the cause of your long trouble which seem unconquered, people thought that Peninnah was the cause of Hannah’s predicament not knowing that Hannah was ignorantly caging herself accepting unconditional love, I pray for you that the Lord will give you grace to let go of whatever is causing God’s hands in your life in Jesus Name. You will celebrate and God’s name alone will be glorified in your life. Say a word of appreciation to God.

TOPIC: SUFFERING UNKNOWN TROUBLE
TEXT: 1 SAMUEL 1:1-10
Introduction: Prior to Jesus’ arrest and crucifixion, he told his disciples that they will suffer lots basically for the sake of the gospel which did eventually in the course of their journey. This lifestyle is passed down to every believer who has confessed Christ as Lord and Master. The topic suffering unknown trouble would make one as questions such as is it really possible, does such really exist or its just a phenomenon expressed by someone in his world of imagination.
An issue arose sometime ago leading to disagreement between some group of people. Some are of the opinion that it is impossible to suffer unknown trouble while others are of the opinion that it is possible. The argument went so tense that various illustrations were used such as “no smoke without fire”, “If there is no inner man revealing secret, it is difficult for an outsider to detect inner secrets” and several other illustrations were used as backup to defend each person’s opinion. While this was going on, a man sought attention and gave an illustration of a live event. In his words he said, there was robbery in a particular location and the police officers arrived quite late. In a bid to return to station with suspects, a number of young men walking by were taken and locked up in a cell. Since no one was aware of their arrest and reasons for such, they were kept in the police custody for a period of time before there was divine intervention. The question thrown to the group was that the imprisonment of those innocent young men was “do they suffer for known trouble or unknown trouble? Let me have your view as to if its possible to suffer unknown trouble or not with evidences as we trust the Lord to open our eyes to what he has for us for the story of Hannah.
To be continued……………….
PRAYER
Say this prayer, Lord deliver my life from every form of trouble am encountering whether known or unknown.
I pray for someone that the Lord will deliver you from all forms of trouble you may be encountering at the moment in Jesus name, the power that deliver the Israelites from the hand of Pharaoh will visit you and liberate you in Jesus name.
