Arabic grammar is not hard,the only problem most people have is that they want to understand it in a very short period of time (days,weeks,or months), which is not possible to say the fact.
Using my own case as an analogy,since 2013, I have never stop reading, revising, teaching the book "Almuqoddimatul Al ajrummiyya", checking varieties of explanation written on it, listening to different Audio explanation of it whenever I have time, this later revealed to me the power of repetition, because Everytime I revise I will definitely have knowledge of something knew in the explanation.

Start with a book today and never ask about the next book until you master the present one.

إِنَّكِ كُنتِ فَإِذا خِفْتِ لَقَدْ
جِئتِ هَلِ امتَلأتِ أَرْبَعٌ تُعَدْ

مِن تَا فَعَلتِ قَدْ أَتَتْ فِي الذِّكْرِ
بِالكَسْرِ يَكْفِي لِجَوابِ الحَبْرِ

وَغَيرُهُ مِثَالُهُ إِنْ رُمْتَهُ
إِنْ كُنتُ قُلتُهُ فَقَدْ عَلِمتَهُ.

ضمير الفصل يوتى به بين المبتدأ والخبر لتعيين ما بعد المبتدأ خبرا وفصله عن النعت التابع مع إزالة لبس انتظار السامع تتمة الكلام أو افتراض انتهاءه ولذالك سمِّي ضميرَ فصل، مثاله قولك "زيد هو المجتهد" فلو كانت العبارة بدون هذا الضمير لحصل لبس هنا وهو أن يظن أن "المجتهد" نعت ل"محمد" وأن الخبر آت بعد بُرهة أو أن يظن أنه خبر والمتكلم يريد النعت، بشرط كونه على صيغة المرفوع بخلاف "محمَّدٌ إيَّاه الفاضل" و"كنتَُ هو الفاضل" وكون ما قبله وبعده مبتدأ وخبرا ولو في الأصل أي أصلهما ك" كان زيد هو القائم" وكون ما قبله معرفة وقد أجاز بعضهم أن يكون نكرة،وأن يكون ما بعده معرفة أيضا.
وقد أعربه بعضهم على أنه في محل رفع مبتدأ ثان، هو وخبره (الجملة الصغرى) في محل رفع خبر المبتدأ الأول،وبعضهم على أنه حرف لا محل له من الإعراب إذ أوتي به لغرض الفصل فقط وليس للإستاد وتسميته بالضمير كان مجازا.
فإذا قال قائل " زيد هو المجتهد" ففيه إعرابان
الأول؛
زيد: مبتدأ مرفوع بالابتدا وعلامة رفعه الضمة الظاهرة على آخره
هو: ضمير فصل لا محل له من الإعراب.
المجتهد : خبر مرفوع بالمبتدأ وعلامة رفعه الضمة الظاهرة على آخره.

الثاني؛
زيد : قد سبق إعرابه فتأمل
هو : ضمير رفع مبني على الفتح في محل رفع مبتدأ ثان

المجتهد: خبر للمبتدأ الثاني وقد عرفت إعراب الخبر، والجملة الصغرى في محل رفع خبر للمبتدأ الأول.
