Re: Voter's Card Sensitization Program/Registration Tour in Obudu LGA

Earlier this week, between 25th & 29th July 2022, the Executive President National Association Of Obudu students world wide and her Excos falicitated and embarked on a PVC sensitization program/registration Tour across the political wards of Obudu LGA.

Feedback from the tour, recorded a lot of grievances from the people in the quest for voters card registration. Some community members who spoke to us expressed outmost dismay over stressful procedures in the course of getting their PVCs, they lamented bitterly over oppression by political heavyweights and INEC officials at the various polling units.

But they were all sensitized and resolved to be registered by INEC officials during the movement.

The event stormed mostly interior areas of the region and succeeded in inculcating into the electorates the need to register for their PVCs and vote wisely for the betterment of our society.

The reason for carrying out the voters education/sensitization was not politically motivated, but was borne out of the need to change the narratives especially at this perilous time of our democracy. This became pertinent as old men,women and even youths in the villages do not have access to information, hence, the need to embolden them to go get PVCs and exercise their franchise in order to change the status quo.
