VALEDICTORY CEREMONY OF THE 2025/2026 CLASS HELD ON FEBRUARY 15, 2026.

The Valedictory Ceremony of the 2025/2026 graduating class was held on February 15, 2026, marking a memorable and joyous conclusion to two years of intensive diploma training in vocational skills at Grundtvig Institute.

The colourful occasion brought together the School Management, staff, proud parents, invited guests, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the graduands.

The event commenced with an inspiring opening address delivered by the Rector, Engr. Dr. Innocent Nsionu, who encouraged the students to remain focused, innovative, and committed to excellence as they step into the next phase of their lives.

In her address, the Coordinator, Grundtvig Institute, Oba, Mrs. Virginia Odimegwu, emphasized the importance of taking their Industrial Training (IT) seriously. She urged the students to be more ambitious and proactive in building their individual businesses, stressing that the skills acquired during their studies should serve as a strong foundation for entrepreneurship, self-reliance, and long-term success.

The joyful ceremony, organized by the Students Association of Grundtvig Institute (SAGI), featured goodwill messages, and heartfelt reflections from members of the graduating class. Prizes were awarded to outstanding students in various categories in recognition of their academic excellence, leadership, and exemplary conduct.

It was indeed a proud and fulfilling moment as the graduands celebrated the successful completion of their studies in this great citadel of learning.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We wish them continued success as they go forth to make meaningful contributions to society and put to great use the valuable skills they have acquired.

2025 CHRISTMAS CAROL AT GRUNDTVIG INSTITUTE

It was a joyful and heart - warming atmosphere on Friday, 12th December 2025, as students of Grundtvig Institute held the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols to celebrate the Christmas season.

The event featured inspiring Bible readings about the coming of the Messiah, uplifting carols, and spirited performances that reflected the true essence of Christmas. It was indeed a delightful occasion that highlighted the true meaning of the season.

Happening Now: Our Coordinator is live at the International Convention Centre, Awka, for the Grand Graduation Ceremony of the beneficiaries of the Government’s One-Youth, Two-Skills empowerment programme.

We at the Grundtvig Institute are proud to have contributed to this laudable initiative by training and equipping youths with valuable skills for a brighter future.
