I'm excited to announce that Sir Pascal, a soil science lecturer and app developer, has created an application called SOIL PED(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pworld_concept.soil_ped). This app is designed to assist agricultural students, soil surveyors, farmers, gardeners, and soil scientists in accurately describing soil profiles.

What Can This App Do for You?

1. Profile Description: With SOIL PED, you can easily describe soil profiles and gain detailed insights into the various layers and their characteristics. I highly recommend this app for soil science students specializing in soil surveys, as it simplifies the description of profile pits and provides longitude and latitude coordinates.

2. Soil Texture Calculation: The app features a soil texture calculator that allows you to determine the proportions of sand, silt, and clay in your soil. This information is crucial for making informed agricultural decisions.

3. Fertility Assessment: The fertility calculator within the app enables students and farmers to evaluate the nutrient content of their soil, guiding them on necessary amendments to optimize crop growth.

I strongly recommend this app for agricultural students (especially those in I.T.), as well as for both undergraduate and postgraduate soil scientists.

I am currently using it for my soil survey project, and it has proven to be incredibly helpful!
