You are free to disagree with me, but do you know that after Real Madrid signed Bernardo Silva, Barcelona went and signed Rodri?

They signed Rodri to stop Bernardo Silva.

But now, José Mourinho is benching Bernardo Silva, a player who has only had a few minutes on the pitch since joining Real Madrid.

And if we compare him with Rodri, since both joined La Liga, Bernardo Silva already has one assist despite not playing many matches for Real Madrid.

Rodri, meanwhile, has been playing consistently, but he has not made an assist.

I don’t know when José Mourinho will realize that Tchouaméni is not a player who should be keeping Bernardo Silva on the bench.

I stand to be corrected, but Bernardo Silva is better than even Rodri.

Yet somehow, he is still on the bench. Really? 😭

How can I describe Rodri in Barcelona’s midfield aga1nst Sevilla?

This is why Real Madrid were so desperate to sign this guy.

Aga1nst Sevilla, Rodri played 90 minutes and showed exactly what he can bring to Barcelona’s midfield. He had 1 key pass, 90% pass accuracy, 2 sh0ts, 1 big chance missed, 86 touches, 4/5 tackles won, 3 interceptions, 5 recoveries, and 5/8 ground duels won.

That is the player controlling Barcelona’s midfield.

The only player I think can do what Rodri is doing now is Bernardo Silva. Yet we might find that José Mourinho doesn’t give Bernardo Silva enough chances.

I’m still wondering how Madrid are going to build their midfield to perform the way Rodri does, or find a player who can perform at the same level.

For me, Pedri is not as important right now as long as Rodri is on the pitch.

Rodri played 90 minutes against Sevilla, and everyone witnessed how good he was in this game.
