Dear parents,

As you must have noticed around you, there is an outbreak of mumps(segede) and other viral infections like conjunctivitis(apolo), measles. The weather is changing and we are gradually approaching dry season hence the viral infections.

Kindly improve your ward(s) immunity by trying out the following and more.

1. Make them wash their hands regularly. Especially when they return from school.

2. Increase your child's water intake (a minimum of 2 litres daily).

3. Deworm if you have not done so already.

4. Reduce the intake of junk food and carbonated drinks especially now.

5. Increase the intake of fruits, greens and vegetables.

6. Make them eat appropriately and moderately.

7. Dress them to suit the weather.

8. Visit the hospital if and when the need arise.

9. Finally, please do not send a sick child to school.

May the Almighty God protect us and our children

Today, I want to correct fifteen(15) expressions that many a people have accepted without a blink of thought if really they are correct:

1. She has put to bed.❌
She has put to birth.✔️
She has given birth.✔️

Many people use the above expression to mean that one gave birth, but PUT TO BED means, to help someone, for example a child, go to bed.

2. The job is TASKING.❌
The job is TAXING.✔️

When something is difficult or burdensome, it is taxing, not tasking.

3. He has WHIKLOW on his hand.❌
He has WHITLOW on his hand.✔️

4. He is a graduate OF Accounting.❌
He is a graduate IN Accounting.✔️
(Graduate IN..., not OF...)

5. He is a doctorate degree holder.❌
He is a doctoral degree holder.✔️
He is a doctorate holder.✔️

('Doctorate' is a noun; 'Doctoral' is an adjective)

6. One faithful day...❌
One fateful day...✔️

7. Pray without season.❌
Pray without ceasing.✔️
(Biblical)

8. In as much as...❌
Inasmuch as...✔️

9. Birds of the same feather.❌
Birds of a feather.✔️

10. Truth be told...❌
If truth be told...✔️

11. Any time/moment from now...❌
Any time/moment now...✔️

12. He is a masquerade.❌
He is a masquerader.✔️

A masquerade is not a person; a masquerade is an event where masqueraders hold a display.

Those Ordinary People Were Made By God And God Has Deposited In Them Strength And Weakness.

Don't Allow Your Pride To Destroy You, Call That Ordinary People, He or She Is Ready To Help You.

Hello Daddy and Mummy.

School will vacate soon and your kids will be back home to celebrate the Christmas with you.

I dare you to make this Christmas memorable. Don't give excuses this time denying your kids TLC 😍 (Tender Love and Care) they need this period, lol I need it too oo 😂🤣

Someone will say I don't have money to buy kiddies stuff or to go on vacation with my family.
Yes, it's quite understandable but I bet you creating long lasting memories with your kids doesn't cost much.

Here are some tips I believe will help you have a good time this season.



Family time is not the place you come to compare your kids with others. Neither is it a judgment throne where the kids come trembling.
Some of us, while we were growing up, we hear that dad and mum wants to see us, Chie you will calculate all the sins you have and yet to commit 🤣🤣

Family time is a time you show affections to your kids.
Tell them how much you love them and how you have always wanted to see them grow to become the best.

Hug them, kiss them, open your mouth and tell them "I Love You"
