To the glory of God Almighty, we are very proud to announce that our dear school took the second runner-up position yesterday, after the tough SPELLING BEE COMPETITION that took place yesterday at Stanel Dome, Awka.

It was indeed a very very tough competition. Sixty eight(68) contestants were picked from over 35 Secondary Schools in Anambra State. Our school defeated many schools to take the second runner-up position and win 200k, a brand new iPad, an Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary and other gifts.

We are prepared and ever ready to go for more competitions and win great laurels. This is just the beginning of our success stories. Glory be to God!.

Today, being the 11th of November, our school, St. Mikel's Int'l School, Okpuno Otolo Nnewi is taking part in a school wide spelling bee competition being hosted by Oluebube Charity Foundation at Stanel Dome, Awka.

Every Thursday at St. Mikel's International Group of Schools, Okpuno Otolo Nnewi., we observe our moral instruction.

It is the platform we use to draw our students closer to God and spiritual matters now that they are young.

We recognize that the best way to influence young people is to get them to participate, that is why we give our students the opportunity to learn and grow by participating in wholesome activities that will groom them academically, socially, spiritually, etc

In this week's episode of our moral instruction, Master COMPANION SAMUEL gave us the word of exhortation where he talked about "young people, their God-given talents and the need to maximize their potential now that they are young".

Taking his text from the gospel of Matthew, chapter 25 vs 14-30, he highlighted that everyone has been given diverse talents by the creator, it is now our responsibility to discover, develop and deploy our talents to serve God and to make life better for other humans.

It was indeed a proud moment for us as a school, listening to the inspiring words from Master COMPANION.
