EASTER RETREAT 2026 🌿
We are excited to share with you one of the most impactful spiritual moments in our school calendar — our Easter Retreat.

This special time is set aside for our students to reflect deeply on the meaning of Easter — the sacrifice, love, and victory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Bible study sessions, prayers, teachings, and fellowship, our students are nurtured spiritually and guided toward building strong Christian values.

We believe that education goes beyond the classroom, and this retreat is part of our commitment to raising not just academically sound students, but morally and spiritually grounded individuals.

A HISTORIC VICTORY – TO GOD BE THE GLORY! 🏆🥇
With immense gratitude to God and great joy in our hearts, we celebrate a historic achievement at the just concluded Inter-Seminary Games involving the Anglican Province of the Niger(Anambra State) and Province of Enugu
Our school recorded an outstanding performance:
🥇 17 Gold Medals
🥈 7 Silver Medals
🥉 4 Bronze Medals

This remarkable feat has broken the long-standing record in the history of the Inter-Seminary Games, as no seminary had ever achieved more than 10 gold medals before now.
By God’s grace, our boys have raised the bar with 17 Gold Medals, a milestone that will remain unforgettable in the history of these games.

This victory did not come easily. It was the result of discipline, perseverance, and relentless hard work.
These young men committed themselves to rigorous training — very early in the morning, under the scorching afternoon sun, and again in the evening.

There were moments when the task seemed overwhelming and the challenge appeared too great. Yet we refused to give up. Words of encouragement kept flowing, reminding the boys that they had the strength, the ability, and the determination to succeed. Together we kept pushing, training harder, believing that victory was possible.

We sincerely appreciate the Principal, Ven. Tochukwu Egwuatu, for his support, encouragement, and leadership throughout this journey.

A special appreciation goes to the Chaplain, Revd. Obinna Afamefuna, whose dedication and passion were instrumental to this success. He personally coached and trained the boys, constantly encouraging them and speaking into their hearts that they could achieve greatness. His tireless commitment, sacrifices, and fatherly encouragement inspired the boys to keep striving until victory was achieved.

Special thanks as well to the two football coaches whose services were engaged — Pst. Golden and Revd. Azubuike. Your expertise, dedication, and guidance contributed significantly to the successes recorded, particularly in the football events.

Our profound gratitude also goes to the Management of the School for their continuous support, encouragement, and belief in the vision of developing the boys both spiritually and physically.

Above all, we humbly dedicate this historic victory to our beloved Proprietor, the Rt. Revd. Ndubuisi Chukwuka Obi, whose fatherly leadership, vision, and commitment to excellence continue to inspire us. My Lord Bishop, this victory is dedicated to you with deep respect and gratitude.

Finally, to our gallant boys — you have made the school proud. Your discipline, resilience, and determination have written your names in the history of the Inter-Seminary Games. This victory proves that with hard work, faith, and perseverance, nothing is impossible.

As you mark this significant milestone of sixty fruitful years, we celebrate a man whose vision and leadership have greatly shaped Christian formation, theological education, and the building of God’s Church.

Our Lord Bishop, your deep passion for raising godly leaders, nurturing future ministers, and strengthening institutions of learning has left an indelible mark on this Seminary. Through your fatherly guidance, wise counsel, and sacrificial service, you have inspired generations to pursue excellence, discipline, and holiness in service to God and humanity.

Your episcopal ministry stands as a testament to steadfast faith, sound doctrine, and compassionate leadership. Your teachings continue to illuminate minds, your counsel strengthens hearts, and your example challenges us to live lives worthy of our calling in Christ.

As you celebrate this Diamond Jubilee, we pray that the Lord will renew your strength, grant you divine health, and continually fill you with wisdom and grace. May the Almighty God reward your labour of love, enlarge your coast, and grant you many more fruitful years of impactful ministry.

We give all glory to God for the success of our 2025 SHEPHERDS GATHERING.
