Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Walking to the Mosque at Night

Buraidah (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Convey glad tidings to those who walk to the mosque in the darkness. For they will be given full light on the Day of Resurrection."

(Riyad as-Salihin 1058, Book 8, Hadith 68)

Those who go to the Masjids for prayer, despite the dark will find their devotion illuminating on the Day of Judgement InshaAllah! How amazing!.

Duk wanda yayi nisa da AlQur'ani ya zalunci kansa. Wani shi da AlQur'ani sai dai a sallah amma shi bayi da time na daukar AlQur'ani ya karanta, bayi da time wai abubuwa sunyi yawa.

Haba malam/malama, a wannan rayuwar ne har zaka/ki bar wani abu ya hanaka karatun AlQur'ani?

{ ٱللَّهُ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡحَیُّ ٱلۡقَیُّومُۚ لَا تَأۡخُذُهُۥ سِنَةࣱ وَلَا نَوۡمࣱۚ لَّهُۥ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِی یَشۡفَعُ عِندَهُۥۤ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِهِۦۚ یَعۡلَمُ مَا بَیۡنَ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡۖ وَلَا یُحِیطُونَ بِشَیۡءࣲ مِّنۡ عِلۡمِهِۦۤ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاۤءَۚ وَسِعَ كُرۡسِیُّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَۖ وَلَا یَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفۡظُهُمَاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِیُّ ٱلۡعَظِیمُ }
[Surah Al-Baqarah: 255]

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about
Repentance before Death

'Abdullah bin 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (RA) reported that: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah accepts a slave's repentance as long as the latter is not on his death bed (that is, before the soul of the dying person reaches the throat)".

(Riyad as-Salihin 18)

Seek Allah’s forgiveness and sincerely repent your sins before it’s too late. Don’t let your repentance be motivated by your impending death, but by sincere seeking of forgiveness from Allah. A sincere heart is always rewarded. Make it a daily habit to complete a tasbih of Astaghfar as follows:


أَسْـتَـغْـفِـرُ اللهَ وَ أَ تُـوبُ إِ لَـْيهِ

عَنْ صُهَيب بِنْ سِنَانٍ الرُّومِيّ رَضِيَ الله عَنْهُ قَال: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ:(عَجَبًا لأَمْرِ المُؤْمِنِ، إنَّ أمْرَهُ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ، وليسَ ذاكَ لأَحَدٍ إلَّا لِلْمُؤْمِنِ، إنْ أصابَتْهُ سَرَّاءُ شَكَرَ، فَكانَ خَيْرًا له، وإنْ أصابَتْهُ ضَرَّاءُ، صَبَرَ فَكانَ خَيْرًا له.)

شرح الحديث:
الصَّبرُ مِن الأخلاقِ الفاضِلةِ والخِصالِ النَّبيلةِ الَّتي أمَرَ اللهُ تعالَى بها، ورَغَّب فيها وبَيَّن فَضْلَها.
وفي هذا الحديثِ يقولُ النَّبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ: «عَجَبًا لِأمرِ المُؤمنِ»؛ فأَظهَرَ النَّبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّمَ العَجبَ على وَجهِ الاستحسانِ لشَأنِ المُؤمِنِ وأحوالِه؛ وذلك لأنَّ أحوالَ المؤمنِ كلَّها فيها خَيرٌ، وليْسَ ذَلك لأحدٍ إلَّا المؤمنُ، فكُلُّ إِنسانٍ في قَضاءِ اللهِ وقَدَرِه بينَ أَمرينِ: مُؤمنٍ وغَيرِ مُؤمنٍ، فالمؤمنُ إنْ أَصابتْه سَرَّاءُ مِن نِعمةٍ دِينيَّةٍ؛ كالعِلمِ والعَملِ الصَّالحِ، ونِعمةٍ دُنيويَّةٍ؛ كالمالِ والبَنينَ والأَهلِ، شَكَرَ اللهَ، فهو يَعرِفُ حقَّ اللهِ في تلكَ النِّعمةِ وما قُدِّرَ له منها، فيقومُ بالطَّاعةِ والعبادةِ والقُربِ مِن اللهِ عزَّ وجلَّ امتنانًا وشُكرًا له سُبحانه، فيَحصُلُ له الأجْرُ في الآخِرةِ، ويُضافُ لهذا الشُّكرِ فَرَحُه الَّذي يَشمَلُه بتلكَ النِّعمةِ، وكذلك فإنَّ المؤمنَ إذا أصابتْه الضَّراءُ مِن فَقرٍ، أو مَرَضٍ، أو بَلِيَّةٍ، أو ضَرَرٍ؛ صَبرَ عَلى أَقدارِ اللهِ، وانْتَظَر الفَرَجَ مِن اللهِ، واحْتَسبَ الأجْرَ عَلى اللهِ، ولَجَأَ إليه تعالَى في كَشْفِها، فكان الصَّبرُ خَيرًا له؛ لأنَّه يُثابُ على صَبرِه، ويَحُوزُ أجْرَ الصَّابِرينَ الَّذين يُوفَّونَ أُجورَهم بغيرِ حِسابٍ؛ فكان أمرُه كُلُّه خيرًا، فَكان ذلكَ خَيرًا له.
فالإيمانُ بقَضاءِ اللهِ وقَدَرِه يَجعَلُ المؤمِنَ في رِضًا كامِلٍ على كُلِّ أَحوالِه، بخِلافِ غَيرِ المُؤمِنِ الَّذي يَكونُ في سَخَطٍ دائِمٍ عندَ وُقوعِ ضَررٍ عليه، وإذا ما حاز نِعمةً مِن اللهِ عزَّ وجلَّ انشَغَلَ بها عن طاعتِه، فضْلًا عن صَرفِها في مَعصيةٍ.

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Striking People

`A’isha (RA) said: the Messenger of Allah (SAW) never struck a servant or a woman.

(Sunan Abu Dawud 4786, Book 43, Hadith 14)

Domestic violence has no place in Islam and nobody should fear for their life, especially in their own home. We should all fear Allah and ensure we treat others with kindness, compassion and mercy, particularly if we expect this treatment from Allah. Life is short, know your purpose and honour others during your time here and all your good deeds will open the doors to Paradise Insha’Allah.
