Graduation Thanksgiving Message
Date: 07/07/2026
Today, my heart is filled with gratitude.
This graduation is more than the award of a Master's degree; it is a testimony to God's grace, faithfulness, and the reward of perseverance.
First and foremost, I give all the glory and honour to Almighty God, who sustained me throughout this remarkable journey. Without Him, none of this would have been possible.
I sincerely appreciate Teesside University for providing an environment that challenged me to grow academically, professionally, and personally.
My heartfelt gratitude goes to my lecturers and mentors: Dr. Tarela Ike, Dr. Dukhan Haian, Professor Paul Crawshaw, Celetina, Micheal Diabiri and all the wonderful lecturers who impacted my life during my studies. Thank you for your guidance, encouragement, patience, and your invaluable contributions to my academic journey. You have left an indelible mark on my life, and I will remain forever grateful.
To my beloved wife, Kofoworola Olasubomi Boateng, words cannot adequately express my appreciation. Thank you for your unwavering love, constant prayers, countless sacrifices, and endless encouragement. I truly wished you secured that all important visa and had traveled all the way down here to stand beside me on this special day, but God, in His infinite wisdom, knows best. Your love and support carried me through this journey, and this achievement is as much yours as it is mine.
To my wonderful children; David Agyenim Oluwasemilore Boateng, Daniel Agyekum Oluwatamilore Boateng, Deborah Agyemang Oluwadarasimi Boateng, and Donald-Duke Damian Oluwafeyibukunmi Boateng— you have been my greatest inspiration. Every sacrifice, every late night, every challenge became worthwhile because of you. I pray that each of you will rise higher than I have and fulfil God's divine purpose for your lives.
I also express my deepest appreciation to Pastor Vincent Dina and Pastor Mrs. Comfort Dina of RCCG North Shields, Newcastle, for your spiritual guidance, prayers, fatherly and motherly care throughout my stay in the United Kingdom. May God richly reward you both.
To the staff, students, pupils, and parents of Dabs Dynamic International Schools, Nigeria, thank you for believing in me and supporting this dream. Your encouragement has meant so much, and this achievement belongs to all of us.
I will never forget my beloved country, Ghana, my hometown Kete- krachi, Dadekro (Small London) and every member of my family. Thank you for your love, prayers, and unwavering support throughout this journey.
As I celebrate today, I remain committed to using the knowledge and experience I have gained in service to humanity, my community, and future generations.
This is not the end of the journey—it is the beginning of a greater assignment.
As the song says:
"Even before I pray, Jehovah Nissi has answered me."
Indeed, God has been faithful.
To God alone be all the glory.
Thank you all, and may God richly bless you.
