Who can apply?
1. Students who could not successfully scale through the various universities POST UTME
2. Students with deficiency in their O' level subjects
3. Students whose scores in JAMB UTME is low
4. Students who could not gain admission to any university for whatever reason
5. Students awaiting their O' level results
6. Students who are tired waiting at home after several efforts to gain admission to any university
7. Students who could not cross from 100 level to 200 level in the universities and had to withdraw.

You will have the opportunity to resit your failed O' level subjects while doing your JUPEB A' level program. Thus, you will not waste away at home for one year.

JUPEB MEANS - Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board. It is a national examinations body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria in December 2013. It was formally established in April 2014 by a consortium of ten (10) partnering universities led by the University of Lagos.

The JUPEB programme is an advanced level program that allows interested candidates to gain admission into 200 level of JUPEB’s approved institution without writing JAMB UTME. This program is moderated by the University of Lagos.

The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) as a National Examination body is saddled with the responsibility of conducting examinations for students, who has undergone approved subject combinations and are seeking direct entry admission into Nigeria and partnering foreign universities. The programme last for a duration of ten months divided into two semesters

JUPEB certificate is accepted in over 90% of the universities in Nigeria for direct entry (DE) admission into 200 level. JUPEB candidates do not need to write UTME before gaining admission. JUPEB certificate does not expire. The ten months of studying for this programmes equates the period of time spent in 100 level of any university, which simply means you don’t have to waste time applying for 100 level admission through the JAMB UTME. We grant the candidates the option of paying in instalments. Candidates also have opportunity to study abroad.

REGISTRATION FOR THE 2024/2025 JUPEB AND IJMB A/LEVEL PROGRAMMES.

It is very clear that it is not every one of the 1.95 million candidates that sat for the 2024 JAMB UTME will score above 200 marks. It is also not all the students who scored above 200 that will be admitted by the various universities for different reasons. It is also not every one that will pass the Post JAMB examination/screening that would be offered admission by the various Universities (both Federal, States and Privates).

For some highly competitive courses such as Engineering, Law, Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, and Mass Communication, about 250 marks in the UTME is required to at least stand a chance at all. Do you have at least 250 marks? If not, apply for IJMB or JUPEB A/LEVEL programme.

Do you want to do change of course because your UTME result is not good enough to study the course you filled in your JAMB form? The universities will first consider those who have chosen that same course as their first or second choice before they will even consider those who may do change of course. Don't hope against hope. Don't put your future in jeopardy. Apply for the IJMB or JUPEB A/LEVEL Programme immediately at Mowe, Ogun State.

There are some people who may not even make it to the Universities because they do not have credit pass in either or both O/level English language and Mathematics or some other O' level subjects, which automatically prevents them from gaining admission to universities, even, if they did very well in the JAMB UTME. We do admit those students in this category as they would have opportunity to re-sit their O/Level subjects before the end of their IJMB or JUPEB programmes.

All these groups need not despair. All hope is not yet lost.

They have the opportunity to apply to DIVINE HELP ACADEMY for their Advanced Level (A/L) IJMB or JUPEB programme.

IJMB and JUPEB A/Level programmes are the same as being in 100 level in the various universities. The syllabuses of both IJMB and JUPEB A/Level programmes are the same with those of 100 level in the various universities.

Candidates who are admitted for the IJMB or JUPEB A/LEVEL programme this year 2024, will be admitted to university of their choice at 200 level by next year September 2025. Admission into 200 level in the university of your choice after the completion of your A/Level programme is through DIRECT ENTRY and does not require you sitting for JAMB UTME.

Then, you would have lost nothing as you will be at the same 200 level by next year (2025) with your friends and colleagues who will enter university this year (2024) through JAMB UTME.

IJMB and JUPEB A/LEVEL PROGRAMMES are far better than DIPLOMA and PRE DEGREE PROGRAMMES.

For example:
1. Your Pre degree result can only be used in that same university where you did the programme and NOT tenable in other universities. If you are not admitted by that university, then, it is a waste of efforts, time and resources, WHEREAS, you can use your A/LEVEL result to gain admission into any university of your choice.

2. Also, if you succeed in the Pre Degree programme, it’s result admits you into 100 level, BUT A/LEVEL result admits you into 200 level.

3. The result of the Pre Degree is valid for that same academic session. If you don't gain admission in the October of that same year, then, it expires and can not be used again. WHEREAS, the result of your A/LEVEL programme has no expiry date.
