Update on Khausar Suwaifullahi Salihu’s Treatment

Dear Alumni and Everyone Who Stood by Khausar,

We sincerely appreciate every one of you who contributed to Khausar’s medical care. Your kindness and generosity have made all the difference. Given how long it has been since the initial fundraising, we feel it’s important to update you on his condition and how the funds are being used.

Thankfully, after continuous medical assessments, his doctors now believe that surgery may not be necessary. Instead, he is undergoing consistent treatment and regular MRI scans, which will continue for at least a year. The contributions raised have been sustaining his care, covering essential medical expenses and school registration to help him stay on track academically.

Here’s a breakdown of how the funds are being used:

- Insulin (monthly):₦30,000 × 12 months = ₦360,000
- MRI scans (every six months): ₦81,000 × 2 = ₦162,000
- Prescribed medications (alternative to surgery): ₦428,000
- School registration: ₦130,000
- Transport for tests and medication: far: ₦80,000

Total funds allocated so far: ₦1,160,000
Remaining balance: ₦140,000 (set aside for any unforeseen medical needs).

Khausar is still on this journey, and your support continues to play a vital role in his recovery. We will keep you informed as things progress. Thank you for standing by him.

Yesterday, we celebrated our 4th Alumni graduation ceremony. It was a proud moment as our brothers completed their journey. The program also marked the final gathering organized by the current Alumni officials, where new members and officials were officially introduced and welcomed.

In our effort to incubate the most beautiful alumni day, today we had an official meeting with Alumni Excos to discuss the upcoming Alumni day, likewise to make some possible arrangements for the success of the event.
Indeed, today marks the end of our meeting as an alumni officials under the leadership of Comr. Idris Babayo Aftaka. More over, we are planing to organize a memorable Alumni day ever in the history of Misau Model Academy Alumni where you would interact with new dignitaries, comrades, and share some experiences during the event.
Lastly, I urge all the members of the great Alumni to contribute to the success of this event in any way possible and to participate in any task if assigned.
