MEYA PUBLIC NOTICE
This is to notify the Youth of Minna Emirate council (Chanchaga, Shiroro, Paikoro, Munya, Bosso LGA) who wishes to register as a members of Minna Emirate Youth Association (MEYA) that registration of New members of the Association is on and will end, 31st September, 2025.
This deadline is incompliance with chapters 8 paragraph (g) of the constitution which stated that "registration shall be continuous process, that is to say, any person can seek for registration at anytime. However, three (3) months before end of every tenure, registration of new members shall be suspended until after election".

NOTICE OF SUPPLEMENTARY SCREENING
Following the just concluded physical interview for the Distinguished Senator Mohammed Sani Musa International Scholarship to China, it was observed that in Paikoro, Tafa, and Gurara Local Government Areas, the required seven (7) qualified candidates could not be secured due to factors such as age, performance, or discrepancies in submitted documents.
Accordingly, the Committee has resolved as follows:
✅️For Paikoro LGA: Candidates who scored 25 marks and above in the CBT but did not make the first ten earlier invited are hereby invited.
✅️For Tafa and Gurara LGAs: Applicants who were not previously shortlisted due to incomplete document uploads but have higher JAMB scores based on what they filled are hereby invited.
The number of invited candidates varies based on the available vacancies to be filled by each LGA.
The supplementary screening is scheduled to hold as follows:

Please Note:
Only candidates who are between 18 and 23 years of age as at today, as stated in the eligibility criteria during application, are expected to attend the screening.

POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 2025/2026
This is to inform all UTME/DE candidates who chose IBB University, Lapai, as their most preferred Institution (First Choice) in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to visit our website at www.Ibbu.edu.ng for online screening exercise between Wednesday, 10th September to Sunday, 28th September, 2025.
Eligibility for the Screening Exercise:
Only candidates with UTME score of 150 and above and who have uploaded their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System, CAPS are Eligible for the screening exercise. While Direct Entry candidates are required to upload a scanned copy of their Advanced Level (IJMB, NCE or Diploma Results) in addition to their O’level Result. (Direct Entry candidate should note that A’Level NABTEB result is not acceptable for this exercise).
The online screening exercise is in three (3) stages as indicated below.
Stage 1:
CANDIDATES ELIGIBILITY CHECK:
• Enter their JAMB Registration Number to confirm if they are eligible. If eligible;
• Enter their mobile phone number and result(s) to submit (Maximum of two (2) sittings for O 'Level results) from the following examination bodies WAEC, NECO or NABTEB, NBAIS.
• Enter the Result checker (scratch card) pin of your Exam body in the appropriate boxes provided for one or two results as applicable, carefully avoiding number transposition.
• The candidate should generate a transaction ID/ invoice for payment through the payment gateway, and instruction for payment is on the transaction ID.
• N2,000.00 only shall be payable for all the process.
Stage 2: PAYMENT:
• If Branch Collect is selected, a transaction ID/ invoice slip will be generated to be printed out and taken to any of the listed banks on the portal.
• If web PAY is selected as the preferred payment option, the candidate will be re- directed to webPAY page to make the payment online.

Stage 3:
RESULT SUBMISSION:
Candidates who have completed the second stage of the screening should proceed to the third stage upon receiving their payment
confirmation SMS (Text Message). They are to log into the portal using the details sent to them in the SMS (text message). Candidates are advised to correctly input their results and any other requested information on the portal. Candidates may after submission print out their submission acknowledgement slip for personal reference only.
Note that supplying false information will result in disqualification. You are allowed to supply a maximum of two different O' Level examination results. Candidates without O' Level results at the time of this exercise can choose the Awaiting Result (AR) option against the subjects they sat for or intend to sit for. The results must be provided before the end of the Admission Exercise.
ANY CANDIDATE WHO FAILS TO DO THE ONLINE SCREENING WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION.

We are pleased to inform the general public that a total of 927 applications were received for the Distinguished Senator Mohammed Sani Musa International Undergraduate Scholarship to China.
Following a thorough review and the removal of 78 duplicate entries, the number of valid applications stands at 849, distributed across the nine Local Government Areas as follows

✅️Important Notice
All applicants are hereby informed that the Aptitude Test for the Distinguished Senator Mohammed Sani Musa International Undergraduate Scholarship Programme (China) has been rescheduled to Wednesday, 27th August 2025.
This adjustment became necessary due to the departure of the first batch of students to India on Monday 25th and Tuesday 26th August 2025.
Criteria for Shortlisting:
1. Meeting all the outlined eligibility requirements.
2. Uploading all required supporting documents on the portal.
3. Having verifiable and authentic claims for all requirements stated.
Applicants are strongly advised to keep their phone lines active, as SMS notifications and invitations will be sent to those shortlisted to participate in the Computer-Based Test (CBT), as well as through our verified social media handles.

Distinguished Senator Mohammed Sani Musa International Undergraduate Scholarship – Second Batch (China)
Eligibility Criteria
✅️Age Requirement
Applicants must be between 18 and 23 years old.
✅️Origin
Applicants must be indigenes of Niger East Senatorial District, which comprises the following Local Government Areas:
Bosso, Chanchaga, Paikoro, Shiroro, Munya, Rafi, Suleja, Tafa, and Gurara.
✅️Academic Qualifications
Minimum of seven (7)credits in WAEC or NECO (obtained in not more than two sittings).
Credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (compulsory for medical-related courses).
✅️UTME (JAMB) Score
A minimum score of 180 in the UTME examination is required.
✅️Validity of Results
All results submitted must be from 2023 to date.

GOVERNOR BAGO DIRECTS IMMEDIATE REOPENING OF IBRAHIM BADAMASI UNIVERSITY, LAPAI
Following a comprehensive review of security measures and infrastructure improvements, His Excellency, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, the Executive Governor of Niger State, has approved the immediate reopening of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai. The institution was temporarily closed due to security concerns and the unfortunate loss of lives within the University community.
A statement issued by Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Abubakar Usman disclosed that Farmer Governor Bago was satisfied with the robust security architecture and infrastructural developments put in place to safeguard students, staff and the University community. Consequently, he has directed that academic activities resume on Monday, 4th August, 2025.
The SSG emphasized the Government’s unwavering commitment to the safety and welfare of students and staff while ensuring uninterrupted academic progress.
Alhaji Usman commended the collaborative efforts of security operatives, University authorities and community leaders in addressing the challenges that led to the closure.
According to the SSG, "Governor Bago, while approving the reopening, emphasized that the safety and welfare of students and staff remain a top priority for his administration. He reiterated his commitment to education as a cornerstone of development, assuring the University community of the Government’s continued support".
The statement implored all returning students and staff to adhere strictly to the security protocols and to cooperate fully with University authorities for a smooth and safe resumption.
