All applicants who applied to join the institution are advised to:

a. Check their admission status on the school portal

b. Proceed with the necessary registration processes if admitted via the school portal.

THE MANAGEMENT OF NIGER STATE POLYTECHNIC, ZUNGERU, LED BY THE DIGITAL RECTOR, TODAY PAID A SIGNIFICANT WORKING VISIT TO THE COLLEGE OF ADMINISTRATIVE AND BUSINESS STUDIES (CABS), BIDA, WITH RENEWED PURPOSE AND COMMITMENT.

The visit was aimed at inspecting the ongoing renovation of the Female Hostel — a clear reflection of a leadership that prioritizes the welfare, comfort, and dignity of students in every decision it makes.

As the team, guided by the Digital Rector, toured the campus, their presence ignited hope and motivation, reminding everyone that real progress comes from action, not mere promises. The renovation project stands as a testimony to the institution’s dedication to providing a safe, conducive, and empowering environment where every female student can thrive.

Furthermore, the management held meaningful engagements with the Deans of Schools, Directors of Directorates, Deputy Registrars, Heads of Departments, and staff across key academic and administrative units. These discussions were driven by a shared goal: ensuring full readiness ahead of the forthcoming NBT accreditation. Their dialogue went beyond simply meeting standards — it focused on exceeding them, raising the bar of academic excellence, and showcasing the institution’s true potential.

Today’s visit, championed by the Digital Rector, is more than just an inspection; it is a demonstration of unwavering commitment. It sends a clear message to staff, students, and the entire polytechnic community that Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru, is advancing with purpose, passion, and determination.

YESTERDAY, THE DIGITAL RECTOR CONDUCTED AN ON-SITE INSPECTION OF THE ONGOING RENOVATION OF THE MALE HOSTEL AT THE NIGER STATE POLYTECHNIC, ZUNGERU MAIN CAMPUS.

The visit once again highlights his unwavering commitment to enhancing students’ welfare and ensuring a conducive environment for academic excellence.

The Digital Rector noted that when students reside in a comfortable, safe, and well-maintained facility, their academic performance, focus, and overall well-being significantly improve. He has consistently emphasized that quality education must be supported by quality infrastructure — and this renovation is a clear demonstration of that principle.

During the inspection, he reassured students and staff of his continued determination to transform and digitize the institution. His leadership is steadily moving the Polytechnic toward modern, technology-driven standards aligned with global best practices.

Kudos to the Digital Rector for his dedication, foresight, and commitment to building a better and more progressive future for Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru.

NIGER STATE POLYTECHNIC RECTOR VISITS NSQ TRAINING CENTRE

The Digital Rector of Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru, Ambassador Professor Ibrahim Umar Kontagora, has paid an official visit to the National Skills Qualification (NSQ) Training Centre at the institution’s ICT Centre, Main Campus, Zungeru.

The visit, which took place on Thursday, October 24, 2025, was to assess the progress of the ongoing NSQ training programme aimed at improving the practical and vocational skills of staff and students.

Professor Kontagora expressed satisfaction with the trainees’ performance and commended the facilitators for their commitment to skill development. He also emphasized the importance of technical competence and hands-on learning in promoting innovation, employability, and self-reliance among Nigerian youths.

The Rector reaffirmed his administration’s determination to align the Polytechnic’s vision with both national and global standards, stressing that the NSQ initiative remains a key part of efforts to bridge the gap between theory and practice in technical education.

THE DIGITAL RECTOR, NIGER STATE POLYTECHNIC, ZUNGERU ATTENDS A ONE DAY MEETING OF HEADS OF BENEFICIARY INSTITUTIONS WITH TETFUND MANAGEMENT ON DISBURSEMENT GUIDELINES FOR YEAR 2024 AT ABUJA

The Digital Rector, Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru today the 31st of October, 2023 attends a One Day Meeting of Heads of Beneficiary Institutions with Tetfund Management on Disbursement Guidelines for the Year 2024 at Tetfund Auditorium, Abuja.

The meeting aimed at deliberating on guidelines to be adopted as year 2024 guidelines for assessing/implementing Tetfund intervention funds allocated to Beneficiary Institutions. The stakeholders in the meeting comprised of Vice Chancellors, Provosts and Rectors of Beneficiary Institutions nd Tetfund Management. The meeting was a fruitful one.

THE DIGITAL RECTOR PAYS AN IMPROMPTU VISIT TO KONTAGORA STUDY CENTRE

The Digital Rector, Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru today Friday, 20th of October, 2023 paid an impromptu visit to Kontagora Study Centre of the institution. The visit was to assess the level of academic activities in the centre and also identify areas of intervention.

He was received at the centre by the centre coordinator and his team and other academic staff of the institution from the emirate.
