Jesus is the Light of life
So he is the source of light.

Any light, apart from Jesus, is darkness.
Anyone outside Jesus, is living in darkness.

Jesus is Light.
So if we want Light, we need to interact with the source of all light.

Paul teaches this very important truth:

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.

He says, we are changed into the same image.

God's goal for the believer, is also to be light themselves.

That's why he calls us the light of the world.
But we can never truly illuminate the world, if we don't have light ourselves.

Paul teaches and says; As we behold, we become it.

As we keep on beholding Light, we become that light.
So the task for every believer, is to behold Light.

To behold means to give attention to something;
Give God your attention.
Give Jesus your attention.

So we must make up our mind to be intentional about our beholding the Light

We must be intentional about meditation, about Prayer, about studying the word of God.

These are means passed down from generation to generation, so we can accurately behold God.

Matthew 25:14-28

They were given talents according to their abilities

The first two, able to reproduce their own talent because their knowledge of their master was different from the last guy's own; Well... My master is hard.
Such knowledge limited him to what he would do with the talent

You see, this is the way we sometimes think about ourselves, in our relationship with God.

The others were thinking. What a loving master do I have; He trusts and loves me so much that he gave me a talent to profit from.

If he has given me such talent, that means he knows I can do it. He knows he has given me the capacity to do it. He knows that I am helped.

The knowledge of their master made sure that the possibilities of the talent given was seen.

They stayed with such knowledge. It was never about the talents; It was what did they know about their master.

The one who acknowledged his love and grace reproduced and the one who never knew him from that light failed to reproduce anything.

When we know him, so many possibilities abound with us.

It is never about our limitations. God can use what you have in your hands, when you are ready to fully commit, to knowing him.

He is the true light that lighteth every man that comes to this world.

So he has been staying with his master for so long and the only knowledge he has of his master was that this master is a hard master

The Lord grant unto us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. Amen.

WHO IS PASTOR MATTHEW ODIA??🔥

Matthew Odia Friday is a renowned Pastor at Omega Vision Christian Network, serving faithfully in the Lord's vineyard, under the tutelage of Apostle Gabriel Clement, the pioneer.

He hails from Edo state and is a graduate of the Prestigious University of Ibadan.

He is also a Sound teacher of God's word, coupled with an unusual ability to communicate the word of God accurately and effectively, through Utterance.
This started back then in school (while in the fellowship).
A special day (Wednesday) was specifically chosen for Him, so people in UI Worship (an arm of Omega vision christian Network in the University of Ibadan) could gather and hear him teach.

He is exceptionally known for his expertise in digital marketing, which includes the Google workspace, Research and data analysis, technical and fundamental analysis(forex markets), and also, the use of programs such as Python, Matlab, HTML, and JavaScript.

He has worked as a Forex trader in Mercy Investment, as an ICT Head in Ever Bright College, as an ICT support officer during his NYSC, at Osun State College of Technology, and also as the Head of Administration and Finance at Omega Vision Christian network, Lagos.

He earned a certificate in project management, at Career Mi Institute, Ibadan in 2007.
He was also a Cisco Certified Network Associate at Global I.T Solutions, Ibadan in 2017.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree, at the University of Ibadan, where He studied Mechanical engineering.

He's married to Mrs Ibukunoluwa Odia.
