Ladies and gentlemen,

My name is Favour Adah Paul, a proud alumnus of Government Model School (GODMOSA), stand before you today to commemorate a momentous occasion - the 40th anniversary of our beloved alma mater.

It's an honor to address the bright and eager students of this institution, many of whom may not fully grasp the significance of this moment. However, I implore you to listen closely, for the lessons I wish to share transcend time.

To those of us who graduated over 30 years ago, the school holds a special place in our hearts. We remember the laughter, the challenges, and the unwavering support we received here. Today, we carry the responsibility of nurturing the legacy of our school and ensuring that it continues to flourish.

In a few short years, you will join the open market, pursue higher education, or embark on journeys of your own. The skills and values you acquire here will shape your future. Therefore, I urge you to take your studies seriously, for knowledge is the key to unlocking opportunities in this competitive world.

As graduates of GODMOSA, you are not only representatives of this institution but also stewards of its traditions and principles. I encourage you to maintain the highest standards of behavior, ethics, and respect for one another. The character you build here will be your guiding light in the years to come.
