NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT OF ELECTORAL ACTIVITIES

The Electoral Committee of the Northern Borno Students Association (NOBOSA) hereby announces the commencement of electoral activities for the 2026 Convention.

This marks the official beginning of the process leading to the election of new executive officers of the association. All members are hereby advised to take note of the schedule below and comply strictly.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:

* Sale of Nomination Forms: Tuesday, 21/04/2026 – Friday, 24/04/2026
* Submission of Completed Forms: Wednesday, 22/04/2026 – Saturday, 25/04/2026
* Screening of Candidates: To run concurrently with submission of forms
* Publication of Final List of Candidates: Immediately after screening
* Manifestation Day: Sunday, 26/04/2026
* Election Day & Declaration of Results: Tuesday, 28/04/2026

VENUE: NULGE, along Pompomari Bypass

TIME:

- Sale and submission of forms: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM daily

The time and venue for Manifestation Day and Election Day will be communicated in due course.

All interested candidates are advised to adhere strictly to the above schedule. Late submissions will not be entertained.

The Electoral Committee remains committed to ensuring a free, fair, and transparent electoral process and urges all members to conduct themselves peacefully throughout the exercise.

We are pleased to announce a unique opportunity for orphans, vulnerable, and less privileged students to register for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination free of charge.

This initiative aims to provide equal access to education for disadvantaged students who cannot afford the registration fee. Our goal is to empower these students to pursue their academic dreams and create a brighter future for themselves.

To be eligible for this program, applicants must:
- Be orphans, vulnerable, or less privileged students.

Interested applicants should submit the following documents:

Date: 4th & 5th of March 2025

NORTHERN BORNO STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (NOBOSA) FREE JAMB PROGRAM

NOBOSA has successfully registered 100 students with free JAMB registration fee which consists of less privileges from the northern part of Borno state.

This was coming in its action to cushion the students hardship and promoting the student educational pursuance at northern parts of Borno state.

It was recall that NOBOSA has announced to sponsor one hundred student from Northern Borno local governments which consists of 10 local governments and each local govt to have 10 beneficiaries.

Today the above mentioned association had successfully registered 100 beneficiaries that are screened and qualified.
