Situation Report: Shehuri North Islamic School Teachers Association (SNISTA) Inter-Islamic Schools Quiz Competition

The semifinal stages of the Inter-Islamic Quiz Competition, organized by Shehuri North Islamic School Teachers Association (SNISTA), have concluded. Four schools participated in the semifinals, showcasing their knowledge and skills in Islamic studies.
Semifinal Results
The following schools have advanced to the final round:
1. Zainul Abidin Islamiyya, Larawam
2. Muslim Bin Hajjaj Quranic Memorization School, Zaiwatari
These schools demonstrated exceptional understanding and recall of Islamic concepts, edging out their competitors in intense competition.
Next Steps
The final round is scheduled for 06-April-2025. The top two Islamiyya will compete for the championship title, showcasing their knowledge and skills.

Situation Report: End of Group Stages, Shehuri North Islamiyya School Teachers Association (SNISTA) Inter-Islamic Quiz Competition

The group stages of the Inter-Islamic Quiz Competition concluded on Tuesday, 11-02-2025, after an exciting 25-days competition. Twelve schools and Sangaya from various Shehuri North Islamic schools showcased their knowledge and skills in Islamic studies.

- Schools advancing to semifinals: 4, among them are:
1. Bamaaji Islamic School
2. Muslim Bin Hajjaj
3. Salmanul Farisi
4. Zainul Abidin
Semifinal Stages Preview:
The semifinals will commence on Friday, 14-02-2025, featuring the top 4 schools in a single-elimination format. The quiz final promises to be intense and exciting, with the top schools vying for the championship title.
We extend our gratitude to all participating schools/Sangaya's and organizers for making the group stages a resounding success. We look forward to the thrilling semifinal stage and the eventual crowning of the Inter-Islamic Quiz Competition champion.

*Day 2 and 3 of Shehuri North Inter-Islamic Schools Quiz Competition.*
The second and third days of the Inter-Islamic Quiz Competition took place on Saturday, January 18, 2025, and Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Shehuri North. Students from various Islamic schools competed in the prestigious event, organized by the Shehuri North Islamic School Teachers Association (SNISTA). The competition aims to promote Islamic knowledge, values, and teamwork among students.
The second and third days of the competition saw intense battles of wits, with teams showcasing their knowledge and teamwork. Key highlights included:
1. The quiz between Darul Ulum Community School and Muhammad Lawan Makinta, Zubairu Goni Koterema Sangaya and Bamaaji Islamic School, Muslim Bin Hajjaj and Alhussaini Sangaya, and Hon. Prince Abba Kawu Quranic Memorization and Salmanul Farisi was a nail-biter, with both teams answering questions correctly and displaying excellent teamwork.
2. The schools impressed the judges with their in-depth knowledge of Quranic Studies, answering complex questions with ease.
After the first three days of competition, the leadership board stands as follows:
1. Group A - 18.5 points
2. Group B- 19 points
3. Group C- 20 points
The competition concluded with a recitation of the Holy Quran. The organizers thanked participants, judges, and volunteers for their hard work and dedication. The competition will resume on January 23, 2025, for the second and third rounds.

The highly anticipated Shehuri North Interislamic Quiz Competition commenced today,17/01/2025 at Shehuri North Community Office, bringing together some of the brightest young minds from islamiyya and Sangaya schools across the ward. The event was organized by *Shehuri North Islamic School Teachers Association (SNISTA)*, aimed to promote and propagate Islamic knowledge, teamwork and healthy competition among students.
A total No. of 4 schools participated today, with each school fielding a team of 6 students for Group A, Subsequently Groups B and C comprises of 8 schools and 6 number of participants from each school. The participating schools were:
1. Umar Bin Ali Sangaya
2. Darul Ulum Community School
3. Zainul Abideen
4. IBN Mas'ud Islamiyya
5. Muhammad Lawan Makinta Islamiyya
6. Abba Bukar Sadiq Islamiyya
7. Bamaaji Islamic School
8. Zubairu Goni Koterema Sangaya
9. Alhussaini Sangaya
10. Muslim Bin Hajjaj
11. Salmanul Farisi and
12. Prince Abba Kawu.
The competition consisted of 3 rounds, each testing the students' knowledge in various subjects, including:
1. Qur'an
2. Hadith
3. Fiqh
4. Azkar, and
5. Imla'i
The Inter- Islamiyya Quiz Competition will be a resounding success, providing a platform for students to showcase their knowledge and skills. The event will promote Islamic knowledge, teamwork and healthy competition.
