For the past 7 days, we had the privilege of hosting Dr. Said Suleimen, the Secretary of the Future Assured Initiative and Secretary to the Board of Trustees of , who came from Abuja to oversee and ensure smooth operations here in Maiduguri.

Last Friday marked the key day of the operation, where he also witnessed the distribution of important learning materials provided by the Borno State Ministry of Education. These included school bags, socks, sandals, books, mathematical sets, and other essential items that will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.

We are grateful for the dedication and support from Future Assured Initiative and Borno State Ministry of Education toward improving education and empowering our children.

Earlier last week, our students proudly took part in the International Day for Climate Action, joining young people around the world to promote a cleaner and healthier planet.

It was beutiful moment as they learned about environmental protection, climate change, and the importance of sustainable living.

We’re proud of their enthusiasm and commitment to making the world a better place — one action at a time!

It was a deeply emotional and spiritually moment as students of Future Assured College (FAC) — founded by Her Excellency Dr. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, wife of the late President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR) — gathered in circular groups inside the mosque last week to read from the Holy Qur’an and raise their hands in heartfelt prayers.

They came together not just as students, but as a united ummah, sincerely asking Allah to forgive and have mercy on the soul of our beloved former president.

May Allah accept their efforts, overlook his shortcomings, and grant him the highest place in Jannah. Ameen.

Future Assured College has joined the nation in mourning the passing of our former President, His Excellency General Muhammadu Buhari, who passed on Sunday. Our deepest condolences go to his wife and our school’s Founder, Her Excellency Dr. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, and to the entire family.

In respect for the late President, the school has been closed for three days and all activities have been suspended until Thursday. We have also lowered our school flags in line with the President’s directive for all Nigerian flags to fly at half-mast.

We pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings and grants him Aljannatul Firdaus. May He comfort the Buhari family and all Nigerians at this time of loss.
