_MARKFAVOUR SCHOOL: OUR RESILIENCE STORY_
_DAY 11: THE HEDGE OF HEALTH AND WHOLENESS_
*THE STORY*
When we started 15 years ago, our vision was not just to teach ABC and 123.
We wanted to raise children who are _sound in body, sound in mind, and sound in spirit_.
That’s why _Fruit Day_ was more than colors and eating.
Every orange, banana, and apple was a reminder: _“Your body is God’s temple, take care of it.”_
At Markfavour, we do weekly health talks. We teach handwashing. We check fingernails. We serve clean water.
We even _reward cleanliness_ every term. From _Most Neat Pupil_ to _Cleanest Classroom Award_.
And we have _zero tolerance for dirtiness_.
Because a sick child cannot learn, and a dirty environment cannot produce excellence.
Last term a Nursery 2 child came in looking weak. Our staff noticed, called the parents, and followed up.
Today that child is back, healthy, and top of the class.
That’s the hedge of health working.
We don’t just teach children. We _nurture the whole child_.
*THE PROOF*
1. *Bible Proof*: _Proverbs 3:8_ - “It will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones.”
_3 John 1:2_ - “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
God desires us whole — spirit, soul, and body.
2. *School Proof*: _Markfavour Health & Cleanliness Program_
- Daily sanitation and clean toilets
- Clean drinking water for all pupils
- Health and hygiene education in curriculum
- First aid available + health referrals when needed
- *Reward system*: _Most Neat Pupil, Cleanest Classroom, Best Kept Environment_
- *Zero tolerance policy*: No dirty uniforms, no unkempt nails, no littering
Result: Our children learn in a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
3. *Life Proof*: Healthy and clean children grow into responsible adults.
In 15 years, Markfavour alumni testify of discipline, good habits, and vitality they learned from here.
Competence without health is empty. Character without wholeness is fragile.
*THE HEDGE*
Health and Wholeness is the hedge that protects our children from sickness, addiction, and low self-esteem.
It teaches them: _“Take care of your body. Keep your environment clean. Guard your mind. Nurture your spirit.”_
At Markfavour School @15, we are committed to raising children who are _competent, clean, and complete_.
